Montgomery County News Texas Weekly Gas Prices Average gasoline prices in Texas have risen 5.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.77/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 13,114 stations in Texas. Prices in Texas are 0.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 10.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.6 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.658 per gallon. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas was priced at $2.34/g yesterday while the most expensive was $4.04/g, a difference of $1.70/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $2.34/g while the highest was $4.04/g, a difference of $1.70/g. The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.12/g today. The national average is down 1.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. Well, this time around, the Team answered the call and got “Back in the Saddle” of victory. The first event for the 2025-26 THSBA Houston Division kicked off on September13th at Lake Limestone. A place that has given the Team some trouble in the past, but not this time. Leading the way for MISD was the Team of Hunter Laskoskie and Axel Anderson, who caught 4 fish weighing 10.27 pounds, capturing Fourth Place out of 167 Teams from 23 area High Schools.
