Gas Prices Average gasoline prices in Texas have risen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.57/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 13,114 stations in Texas. Prices in Texas are 10.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 1.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 4.7 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.638 per gallon. According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas was priced at $2.09/g yesterday while the most expensive was $3.99/g, a difference of $1.90/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $2.09/g while the highest was $3.99/g, a difference of $1.90/g. The national average price of gasoline has risen 2.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.00/g today. The national average is down 10.8 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 7.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. This victory places the Team firmly in First Place in the Division, until the season will resume in the Spring. It will be there that the Team will continue on its' goal of going undefeated for the Season. An outstanding effort was turned in by the current number one Team for MISD, Jacob Riley and Brenner Kirklin, as they claimed First Place out of 166 Individual Teams from 19 area High Schools. The Docents Led The Way... "Voices from the Past” A Successful Community Event by Eva Raines When there is a big event like "Voices from the Past", docents are needed to take folks around the two cemeteries in Montgomery. The ladies pictured in this photo are in the New Montgomery Cemetery, which is located on Old Plantersville Road and was established in December of 1868 and the event took place of October 18, 2025. The Thomas Jefferson Stubbs 2523 Conroe Chapter of the Texas Division, United Daughters of the Daughter, has participated in this event for the past six years.
