San Antonio- $2.74/g, up 20.9 cents per gallon from last week's $2.53/g. Austin- $2.75/g, up 17.1 cents per gallon from last week's $2.58/g. "Average gasoline prices in the U.S. have been volatile over the past week, with roughly half of the 50 states seeing prices decline while the other half experienced increases," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. "Oil prices, which had fallen into the $50 per barrel range at the height of Trump’s trade war, have since rallied and are now holding in the low $60s, leading to rising gas prices in some states. For now, I expect the national average to bounce around in the $3.10 to $3.20 per gallon range over the coming week, with a continued mixed bag for consumers—about half of the states may see prices inch lower, while the other half could experience increases. We'll be watching for any market developments, but for now, the market appears to be in a holding pattern." SOURCE GasBuddy

CONROE, TEXAS – From the moment you meet Annette Ingram, it is clear she is passionate about her family, her friends and her faith. Now, it is safe to say she is passionate about the work of first responders who serve our community. Mrs. Ingram went out of her way to make sure she hugged and thanked every paramedic, 911 dispatcher and firefighter who helped her after she suffered a heart attack last February. Mrs. Ingram was at her home when she started feeling ill. It was not long before her husband called 911. The firefighters arrived and started taking Mrs. Ingram’s vital signs and gathering information for the paramedics. When MCHD paramedics arrived, they performed an EKG and determined she was experiencing a STsegment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). It is a serious type of heart attack where a major coronary artery is completely blocked. The paramedics immediately started giving medications to help Mrs. Ingram and alerted the hospital in advance so the cardiologist would be ready for her arrival. After treatment and a very short stay in the hospital, Mrs. Ingram was released from the hospital. She went to outpatient cardiac rehab and is now doing amazingly well. Last week, she and her family reunited with the crews who helped save her life.

“I want you all to know I went to the cardiologist, and he performed an ultrasound on my heart. I have NO heart damage. So, what you guys did, to me, is really a miracle. If it weren’t for you all, I wouldn’t be here. My family would be Five MISD Art Teachers pose during the MISD Art Exhibit at Lake Creek High School m o u r n i n g m y d e a t h instead of celebrating my h e l d l a s t y e a r a t works of art to their friends grades, many pieces were life, and it’s because of Montgomery High School. and relatives, proudly well thought out by the what you all do every day.
