Welcome to the 6th issue of Innovation@UAE Magazine, a bilingual quarterly periodical developed by the Ministry of Education's Department of Science, Technology, and Scientific Research. This issue focuses on innovative scientists building a competitive knowledge-driven economy. As part of the National Strategy for Higher Education 2030 which consists of 4 pillars, Innovation is a key pillar whereby this magazine shall focus on recognizing any innovative efforts within the UAE. The magazine comprises a news section including recent research conducted in the scientific fields; featured topics; a highlighted profile section selecting a leading scientist; Emirates Young Scientists winners in the National Science, Technology, and Innovation (NSTI) Festival for the year 2022; coaching tips for youth on educational/vocational fields; and finally, a scientific events calendar for the interested general public to attend.
