Art Teacher Practitioner Programme (ATPP) — Advanced Diploma in Primary Art Education Get connected! ATPP has been running since 2011 and is currently serving its 3rd batch of teachers. The 90hr part-time ATPP prepares teachers without CS1-3 Art for NIE’s Advanced Diploma in Primary Art Education course. It aims to equip participants with studio fundamentals and basic pedagogical skills for art teaching in the primary classroom, developing them as reflective practitioners through generative discussions and visual journaling. In addition, they develop and hone their skills in various Art forms through personal Art Practice. Our current 3rd batch of ATPP participants will proceed on to the portfolio interview conducted by NIE and upon clearance, be admitted to read the 4-mth Full-time Advanced Diploma in Primary Art Education.
