Term 3 at STAR is buzzing with activity as we welcome new additions to our Art team! This July, Mr Lim Kok Boon, joins us as Programme Director, and Mdm Ira Wati Sukaimi, joins us as Programme Manager. In August, we will also be welcoming our visiting consultant, Dr Karen Lee Carroll, back for a second time.

STAR Champions Cluster Workshops STAR conducted a 3 full-day training workshop on Student-centred Art Education for Primary STAR Champions, and they went on to mount and lead interesting and enriching art workshops for primary school teachers from their cluster schools. The cluster workshops were mounted with the objectives of: 1. Creating awareness of student-centred art lessons through conversation, role-modelling and demonstration. 2. Applying the principles of student-centred art learning in one‟s lesson. 3. Providing platform for art teachers within the same cluster to network
