Can you tell us a little about you? I’m Francesca and I’m 18 years old I live in Turin, Italy. I am a definite person, I believe in my goals and I make the best to reach them, both about work and in my private life. At the moment I’m finishing high school, during the weekend I focus on my model work which is growing more and more about the requests... and I’m very glad of this! I have many interesting projects planned, some even outside Italy, waiting to finish my studies. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Sometimes I’d like to be more confident towards other people, it's something I'm working on but I’m sure I’ll resolve this part of me. For example two years ago I was really shy and insecure but over time I have totally changed and now I don't let myself be intimidated by criticism, to work in this ambit you need to be strong and think about your own wills, not those of others. How did you start modeling? I started at 15 posing for acquaintances who were studying photography, after two sets I was contacted by other photographers who were interested in my image, initially I considered it a leisure but in the meantime my passion for laying was growing until I was contacted by professionals. What do you think of the work as a model? I think that if it is done professionally it is full of responsibility, the attitude and respect are important when you work as in every sector, another important thing is the organization, unlike other jobs where there are fixed times, in this job you have to manage everything by yourself like transfers and dates. What is your beauty regimen? It is based on an important point: originality. I always try to distinguish myself about the personality and style. These things make a person individual. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? The creativity I use to improve my qualities and renew my working abilities, I am never satisfied and I see it as a positive aspect of me because I always try to go further without stopping. What are your plans for the future? After high school, I will enroll at the design university, definitely continuing with my job. I have a lot of projects for these months but the relevant ones will be released from this summer, the rest will be a surprise. Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Try to learn as many things as possible, be cordial and serious and don't forget to be yourself. What do you think of the magazine? Can you tell us a little about you? I'm Andrea Ferrario, I'm 27 years old and I live in northern Italy near Milan. I work as a full-time pharmacist, and in the remaining time I dedicate myself to photography. I am a member of La Cosca, a photographic team specialized in portraits. How and when did you get into photography? I've always had the desire and ambition to learn how to take good pictures, so in 2013 I decided to buy my first entry level dSLR; in a very short time it was able to give me great satisfaction. After 4 years I bought my first professional dSLR to take my photography to a higher level. What does photography mean to you? Photography for me is an opportunity to show others my vision of the world, to give vent to my creativity and my emotions. Photography is also a valuable tool that allows me to create new relationships with the people I portray or who have the same passion.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. My photographic style reflects my personality and my vision of women, of which I have great respect. Through my photographs I want to convey the idea of elegance, freedom and emotion; for this purpose I mainly portray female figures because I consider them the most suitable to represent these concepts. Where do you get inspiration from? As a source of inspiration I like to browse my pinterest showcase. I try to nurture my inspiration with everything around me, works of art and literature. Although I think the best inspiration comes within us when we meet and relate to the subject to portray. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I consider myself a hobbyist photographer when I take pictures to enrich my portfolio or when I feel the physical need to photograph. Photography also allows me to earn extra money when clients hire me for photoshoots. - 14 -

Think you in advance what you want in the picture? In general I get an idea about the mood of the shooting but then I prefer to leave space for improvisation. Studio, on location or both? I like to shoot everywhere. I love shooting in studio for portraits and commercial photos. Shooting on location instead gives me the opportunity to create enviromental portraits. What has been your most memorable session and why? I remember with pleasure every photo session. The session to which I am particularly attached is that made with my beautiful friend Pamela, alone on the seashore, at sunset on a stormy day. I still remember the waves, the taste of the sea, the wind and the wonderful colors of the sky that surrounded my beautiful model. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? As a camera body I use a Canon 5d mark iii, so I have to say Canon. However, the camera doesn’t matter, it is only a tool that allows us to capture what we see with our eyes and our mind. I often compare it to a pen, no matter what pen you write with, but what story you tell with that pen. My favorite lenses are Canon 85 mm f / 1.8 and Canon 50 mm f / 1.4 with which I realize 90% of my works. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? The advice I give to new photographers is to try to create their own photographic style without trying to copy the style of others. We must accept the risk that one's style may not please everyone. Look for what makes you unique and differentiates you from others. What do you think of our new magazine? Can you tell us a little about you? Hi I am Robert Hechinger a 59 years old French photographer based in Colmar where I set up 3 years ago my photography studio - La Boite Ă Images. I love portraits photography and on top of all I like teaching through workshops that I organise around different themes. How and when did you get into photography? I stepped in to photography as my father when I was 13 years old gave me a 35mm camera. I bought my first Minolta Reflex camera when I was 15 years old by working hard during summer time. I remember at that time spending all my free time in the dark room trying to produce my first landscape portfolio. Often I return to this first set of photographies - I believe that it is important to remember and understand where we are coming from to appreciate better the way achieved and the one which still has to go even if it is an endless path. What does photography mean to you? For me photography is a window open to the world and to the people. What excites me the most every time when I press the shutter is to know that I freeze a very tiny slice of time which is very unique and which will never ever come back again. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I am still in the process to fine tune my style but basically I love to produce pictures which are focusing on the sensitivity of the models and to present them in a non distracting and flattering environnement

Where do you get inspiration from? Actually inspiration sources are every where - the ones which I use the most are checking and analysing the work of other well known photographers, flipping through fashion magazines, researching on Pinterest, watching and rewatching movies… And of course Modellenland Magazine that I check on regular basis to find new inspirations. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? I try, before stepping into a photoshoot, to get prepared as well as possible - when shooting outdoor I scoot the potential locations, check the quality of light, the possible point of views… For any shoots with models, I try to come up with a mood boards which helps to bring all the actors involved (model, makeup, styliste…) to the same page and give myself a large chance to produce consistent pictures in line with my vision. Studio, on location or both? I love shooting in studio and on location - Actually it depends on my mood and on the concept I try to drive through. Also it brings a lot of excitement to change from studio to location and vice versa as it forces me to step into a different ways of thinking. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? So far making money through photography is not important to me as I have a day job. What I like the most is taking beautiful pictures that the models love. What has been your most memorable session and why? Actually all sessions I did with Nienna have been memorable. She is a wonderful lady with a big heart like this. She inspires me at each shoot. There is a close complicity between the two of us. Nienna has been my muse for now almost 2 years

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I shoot on Canon and my favorite lenses are the 85mm f1.2, the 70-200 f2.8 and the 24-70 f2.8. For outdoor portraits my go to lens is definitively the 85mm - I love the creamy look it produces when shooting wide open. However I must say that the gear for me is not important at all. Nikon or Canon both brands are so close each to the other that it does not make a difference. I am dreaming about a brand putting on the market a camera where only aperture, shutter speed and ISO can be adjusted, with a high class sensor and with a very reliable autofocus, without all the other millions of features and functions that I do not use on my camera and which some times do confuse me. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? I would give 3 main recommendations, 1. Work hard on your craft to produce pictures which stand out from the crowd. 2.Workout and adjust a solid and realistic business plan. 3.Pay a lot of attention to Marketing and communication plan to promote efficiently and consistently the image of your brand. What do you think of our new magazine? Photographer Kestas Venzlauskas (Lithuania) Can you tell us a little about you? My body is almost 39 years old, which mostly lives in Kaunas, Lithuania. But I love to travel. I’m proud of my wife and two wonderful children, I graduated school, college, read many books, saw lots of movies, I traveled around many beautiful countries, met so many interesting people, I learned and knew many different things, but I’m not done yet. How and when did you get into photography? Four years ago I was lucky to visit Venice, Italy. I took a few dozen photos there with my iPhone, one of them was some tiny street. But when I came back and saw how bad it was, I started to interest about the apps where I could make it better. This led me into iphoneography – I was already searching, learning and trying. At the beginning I was shooting trees, rocks, landscapes and similar stuff. In a few months I was bored of still life, so I decided to ask one of my friends to pose in front of my iPhone. Yes, I know, not the best idea. In a while my colleague photographer Gerda, which could no longer suffer my Facebook feed with portraits, made with a phone (who I am so grateful for the support and the foundation in photography she gave me) told me to get professional camera. That’s how randomness forced me to change my life. Completely. What does photography mean to you? Alive. I feel alive. You must always keep going. You must learn all the time – how to see the world differently, how to communicate with people. You must master your skills, improve your taste, and here are no limits, you are able to do it for ever. It’s a gentle fight with yourself – never stop. But the fight is easy, when you have passion for it. Photography makes me a floating river rather than stinky swamp. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Must be the hardest question... My path in photography is too short to be sure what is my style. But I know exactly – my aspiration is emotion. Yes, I like contrast, especially in black and white, I like dark pics more the bright ones, but anyway – there must be a feeling in portrait - 52 -
Where do you get inspiration from? My inspirat-ion is the most perfect creature in the world – wo-man. Every cell of this miracle inspires me. But it is a Couse. To be able to perpetuate that beauty in a picture I observe other portraitist, for now the best inspiration feed for me comes from 35photo.ru and fstoppers.com. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Always. I’m preparing for the shoot for 2-3 days – browsing for inspirational photos, planning, getting the ideas for any accessories, but when the moment comes…it’s always goes extemporary. Studio, on location or both? Both have own advantages and dissadvantages, it depends on the expected result and the gear you own.
Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I prefer to work with proffesionals, would it be model, stylist or make up artist, and the main reason for that – responcibility and guaranteed results. So being a hobbyist I’m trying to work like a professional. What has been your most memorable session and why? It was two years ago. To challenge myself I asked my Facebook fans to come on a location one evening with no preparation. I promised three photos from half an hour shoot, and I squeezed this shoot into about 3x3 meters. I was was expecting 3 to five models. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately – 10 of them showed up! I had to spin arround like a crazy – these people came at the same time, and had to wait till I photographed all of them, one by one. Hell yeah, it was hot. By the way – one picture on this magazine is from that shoot. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I shoot with Canon 6D, and my favorite lens is nifty fity, but – is there a difference what camera or lens we use? If someone doesn’t feel passion in photography - no gear will help. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Don’t be afraid. There must be no doubt. In any activity there is no place for weakness. Can you tell us a little about you? I’m fashion make-up artist and model from Kiev, Ukraine. Work with a lot of photographers, for magazines and designers all over the world. Have lovely daughter, husband and 2 British cats) How long have you been a makeup artist and how did you get your start? I had started to work as a MUA in 2015. It was an impulse decision after my trip to LA. I always wanted to make art and make up was very close to me because of model work. I started from make-up school and tried to do every kind of make-up job to choose my own way) And finally chose fashion. Where do you get your inspiration from? I get a lot of inspiration from everything that I see outside, because all of it can be useful on fashion shooting. I read a lot of fashion magazi-nes, it helps to build a taste and just enjoy works of colleagues. Also, I get inspiration from cosmetics, its colors and textures, even packa-ging) I like to buy a lot of new cosmetics for my work, read a lot about it and always try something new. Other ways to find inspiration are models, art galleries, cinema. What are some of your makeup products that you use? For skin I like Make Up For Ever brand, especially Ultra HD foundation and HD powder, it’s great for shootings. Highlighters and primers Becca, I like its shining. Who have you worked for and who would you like to work for in the future? I have worked for Vogue Italia, Elle Man, Faust Magazine and more than 30 different magazines all over the world. I have worked for one of the best Ukrainian designers Irina Dzhus, for french designer Anggy Haif, with talented fashion photographer from Paris Jude P., we even had an exhibition with our photos in Paris; with famous spanish cosmetics brand Julia and now we have a lot of advertising everywhere in Spain with my make-up, with a lot of supermodels. I like to work with different photographers in Ukraine, they are very creative. My professional dreams are connected with photographers, models and magazines) Of course, I wish to work with Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, for Vogue, Elle and other magazines in different countries. If you were not a makeup artist, what would be your dream job? Model or photographer) I like this sphere. What are three things every girl needs in her makeup bag? Concealer, cream blush and lash mascara. What are common mistakes you see women make on their makeup? Do make-up from Instagram even if it doesn't combine with their appearance and outfits. Can you tell us a little about yourself? I am a Ukrainian photographer, I lived in Moscow, Hong Kong and Milan for a long time. Photography is my passion. I Always try to capture the most interesting moments of my life with a camera and share these moments with others. How and when did you get into photography? When I was 13 I decided to try to take my first shots and like everyone, I came to the Photo just starting to shoot as an amateur, but after some time I realized that photography became a daily matter for me, a habit with which I could not part. For some time I was working as a photomodel, but after some time I realized that being on the other side of the lens is much more interesting for me. What does photography mean to you? Photography means a lot to me, but the key value of photography such is for me the opportunity to share the most unique moments of my life, to give other the opportunity to see how I see this world, people and everything that surrounds and inspires me. This is an opportunity to look at the World through the eyes of another person. Where do you get inspiration from? I am inspired by nature, when I am alone with nature, I am inspired by it, it gives me the strength and the understanding that everything natural is beautiful. Beauty in simplicity. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? 100% Paid professional.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. The transfer of the atmosphere and the mood that I experienced during the shooting is my style. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Sure, even if these are pictures of landscapes, I preview the weather, I calculate the time (for light) to catch exactly what I want to see in the photo. Studio, on location or both? Both, for sure. In order to take a good picture it is not necessary to be in a studio with a professional light. And in order to take pictures with natural light it is not necessary to be in the studio. What has been your most memorable session and why? I guess, it was in Meteora (Greece). This is not the most popular place, but it is one of the locations from the series Game of Thrones. It captures the spirit of how unusual and beautiful it is. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Sony! For sure only Sony. I adore this camera. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Do not copy anyone and create your own style. What do you think of our new magazine? Photographer Francesca Terenziani (Italy) Can you talk a little bit about yourself? Let me introduce myself: my name is Francesca Terenziani, I am 38 years old and since I was a child I am a great fan of photography. I've always taken, both with Polaroid and with small analog compacts but I made the big jump in 2016 thanks to my life partner Enrico Pignatti. Thanks to him I learned everything there is to know about professional photography, using for the first time a SLR, learning rules and the optimal use of light. I did not do specific academies or courses but only a lot of photography and post-production workshops. As a genre of fashion and beauty, but my greatest pas-sion is vintage: In fact, I try to create a retro effect in post production based on the historical period chosen at the time. How and when did you get into photography? As I said before, shooting since I remember.

What does photography mean to you? Photography is my life, it was my salvation in my darkest moments, it is the means to express myself, my personality, my "I". Describe briefly your photographic style for our readers. My style is sparkling with bright colors. I tend to be "bressonian" in the sense that I try to be perfect both in the composition and in the use of lights. Where do you get inspiration from? Being a great lover of vintage, I find inspiration in the 70/80/90 icons. I think that the moods of the time were wonderful, the models, then, were beautiful, smiling, happy. Think ahead of time what do you want in the picture? Yes, every shot of mine starts from a project planned on time. I am fortunate to be able to work with qualified people, able to fulfill my "mental journey"!

Study, on site or both? Both of them. It always depends on the mood of the project. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I'm a professional photographer. What was your most memorable session and why? Definitely "Remember Amy W." In this set I tried to pay homage to the great Amy Whinehouse: I studied for months everything, the location, the model (Azzurra Gallo wonderful performer) makeup and hairstyling by the talented Eleonora Tomasini - MakeUpArtist- styling by Elisa Vissani. It was the most beautiful and felt project ever made until now. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I am loyal to Nikon. I started with an old D5100 and then spent the last year on a D810. My favorite lens is a Sigma 50mm Art f / 1.4 What is the only advice you would like to offer a new photographer who wants to start his own business? The only advice I can give is to believe in one's dreams and never stop learning. What do you think of our new magazine? I really like it, I love it !!! Model Alexandra Allie (Italy)
Can you tell us a little about you? I'm Alexandra Carp and I'm 20 yo. Originally I'm from Romania, but I now live in Italy . I'm attending the Business Management university in Milan and in the meantime I work as a hostess and model. What I love most is dancing, singing, modeling and traveling. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Well, modeling helped me to overcome my insecurity. I'd like to be taller as sometimes it's harder to find jobs because of that. The physical flaws? Every woman has her own and probably many people don't even notice them. I think it is normal in the end, perfection doesn't exist (except for Candice Swanepoel ahaha, she's my fav). Anyway we only have to accept us more! How did you start modeling? I started when I was 17 but for little things, in fact the first shooting I've done was for the hostess job application. I know it's weird but also hostesses need to have professional photos. The competition is very high in this field too. After that I used those pictures for social media and photographers started to ask me collaborations and paid sessions. From that moment things went only better.

What do you think of the work as a model? I love the fact that you can be whoever you want and be involved in different situations. It's just gratificant to see me with amazing make up and feeling beautiful. I think every woman, especially those with a low self-esteem should experience that, definitely. What is your beauty regimen? That's funny haha! I love the food and I eat a lot, but the secret is to equilibrate the meals and to don't exceed in junk food and stuff like that (at least this is what I'm trying to do). I practice sport when I can. Moreover the water is extremely important for having a beautiful skin. I try to reduce makeup in the normal days and I always use natural products, from the cleansing to the whole makeup. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I'm a funny and positive girl who it's nice to talk to. I always try to do my best. I'm always ready to challenge myself and I'm also very ambitious and determinate. Hope so this will help me to follow and realize what I want. What are your plans for the future? I'm working on it. I have more plans depending on where I'm going to be and the opportunities I'll be given. I'm sure I'd like to open my own business and travel as much as I can. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? I've had appearence in one of the l'Oreal Paris and Unicredit Banca advertising, my photos have been published on different editorials, I've modeled for shops as Globus Store Verona, and outlets like Il Salvagente Milano. I've also had part on different shows of hair model with important hairstylist such as Stefano Bonomi. These are my best experiences, I've wore lots of fabulous clothes in a a unique atmosphere! Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Sure. It's important to have a strong personality and find always good agencies, never pay for this kind of services. If an agency believes in you won't ask you money. Watch out for scams, there are several. What do you think of the magazine? It is very inspiring to see the stories of both photographers and model. Photographer Massimiliano Marcoccia (Italy) Can you tell us a little about you? Hi, I’m Massimiliano and I’m a freelance photographer based in Rome. I shoot portrait but my interest in photography doesn’t have any kind of border. How and when did you get into photography? I started when I was young using analog machine without any particular knowledge. After a long pause I have started to shoot again and I have focused my personal research in portrait photograpy. What does photography mean to you? The possibility to meet different people and represent my personal vision of them. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I don’t know if I really have a style but I think that, in this moment, common elements in my pictures are the use of natural light and the focus on the eyes of the subject.

Where do you get inspiration from? For sure I look a lot at the masters of photography and painting but also at new generation of photographers, that have fresh and interesting ideas. Music, movies and novels also give me inspiration and hints. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? I try everytime to fix a mood and a story but when I’m shootind could be that everything thake a different way and I go with the flow. Studio, on location or both? In this period I prefer to shoot in location (mainly in nature ) but of course depends what kind of picture I have, or I want, to realize. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Neither, I use the Sony mirrorless system with primes (50mm the favorite) but my idea is that they are only instruments.

Photographer Marco Squassina (Italy) Can you tell us a little about you? I’m full professor of mathematical analysis in Italy as well as a portrait photographer. I like all kind of creative and artistic projects. How and when did you get into photography? I seriously got into photography in 2015. For years I have been thin-king about it for I had some kind of ability to select good compositions when framing with family gears. I think I made a good step forward when I learned from Russian portrait photographers how to properly handle the lighting on the subject, how to color grade and, in general, how to make a good post-production. What does photography mean to you? Drawing beauty, emotions and sensuality with light. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I like to get emotional shots especially at blue or golden hours. The study for the right color grading is then an essential stage when it comes to giving the right artistic flavour to the pic. Where do you get inspiration from? Most of the time from Russian portrait photographers like Sean Archer, Dmitry Arhar and Georgy Chernyadyev. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Sometimes, but most of the time I elaborate while framing. Studio, on location or both? Mainly on location, sometimes studio. I love natural light and shooting outside. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? A professional. What has been your most memorable session and why? I remember memorable sessions with the ukrainian model Mariana Onufriichuck, in winter at -8C in historical gardens in Verona or with sexy lingerie on Iseo lake, Italy. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start? Do it for love not for money, at least at the very beginning. Model Aleksandra Lubiniecka (Poland) Can you tell us a little about you? I'm sixteen years old student of high school on journalistic profile. I live in the east of Poland in mulitcultural city named Białystok. Big fan of computer games, good books, history and musicals. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I would like to change - and I'm working on it - approach to organise my time. I have a lots of obligations and activities, i'm often being tired. How did you start modeling? I was taking a part in the beauty contest. And first I became a Miss Teen of my voivodeship then fourth Vicemiss Teen of Poland. In this time my mother agency - New Stage Models - interested in my and proposed contract. From the beginning of competitions i had a lot of photo sessions. It gave me much of satisfaction. What do you think of the work as a model? I think that is a hard and sometimes underestimated work. If u want to get success in this trade u must be hard-working person which knows what it want and is aware of many sacrifices. What is your beauty regimen? First of all, i avoid to much of sunshine, because my skin is very pale, but it's one of my asset. I am taking care of my body by going to joga, pilates and stretching classes. And diet? I am trying to follow a light, balanced diet. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? In opinion from people which i had working with im an optimistic, compromise and sympathetic person, im always doing my best. What are your plans for the future? In the future i would love to continue my adventure as a model and also get high education. I want to study Iberian, because it would give me possibility to live and work in Spain. Photographer Magdalena Kubiak (Netherlands) Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Magdalena Kubiak and I am a photographer based in the Netherlands, coming originally from Łódź, Poland. I am fascinated by people and photography all my life and that’s why I decided to combine these two passions. I started to treat photography as my profession just a couple of months ago and I am achieving my goals and making my dreams come true step by step. Since I admire fashion, it was quite clear for me, that next to portrait photography, fashion will be my second main thing. Starting from August I made already several editorials and gained few publications in international magazines. There is nothing better than meeting new inspiring people and create something together though. Building relations with models I photograph is almost as crucial for me, as the final result in one image. How and when did you get into photography? I was into photography from the very beginning. As a little girl, I used to watch photo albums and books with illustrations every evening before going to sleep. That urge has always been there. Then when I was 11 years old I bought myself my first camera (very amateur type) and I loved to take photos of my school friends or to style a set for my plush toys etc. I didn’t treat it seriously back then though. My first steps in “more advanced” photography I made just after high school, but I didn’t believe in myself to let it become my main goal or a profession. So after many years of struggling and doing different things in life, I decided to come back to it and go for it in 100%. And here I am! Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. It is very challenging and not easy to describe myself in that matter. I hope that my followers and my clients can just see a piece of “me” in my photos.

What does photography mean to you? It means a world to me! Actually it is one of the most important things in my life. When I have too long breaks between certain photo sessions, I become irritated and bored. I really need to keep on going to feel that I’m constantly growing and improving myself. I photograph people, so it is also very crucial for me. I am a very social person and I love to meet new people and build some new relationships with them. Where do you get inspiration from? Basically from everything – these are my travels, people around me, my experiences, emotions, films, other photographers work, paintings, music. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? I am rather spontaneous and chaotic, but I really try to improve that and plan my photos in advance better. In the end it is needed, since we don’t have all time in the world. However in my opinion it is not possible to plan every single thing for a photoshoot. Studio, on location or both? In the past it used to be on location only, but the more I work in the studio, the more I like it. If I have to choose though, working on location will still win for me, even though it is way more exhausting, logistically complicated and more difficult with the light. What has been your most memorable session and why? All of the creative photoshoots that I made for my development are the most memorable for me, because I put all my heart into them and they were not made for any specific client, but for my team and art directed by myself.

Listen to your heart and follow your instincts. And the last one – do not expect that everything will go super fast, just be patient and don’t give up, if you love doing it! Photographer Francesco Del Bravo (Italy) Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Francesco Del Bravo, I was born in 1971 in Florence, Italy, where I work and live with my family. My way of conceiving photography can be summed up in the sentence by the great Helmut Newton: “ The desire to discover, the desire to excite, the taste of capture, three concepts that summarize the art of photography. " How and when did you get into photography? I have approached photography since adolescence, obviously using analogical equipment. My first camera was in fact a Pentax Me Super still working. With the advent of digital, what was previously only a sporadic activity dictated by curiosity has turned into a real passion. I enjoy any photography genre but I prefer glamour, boudoir and artistic nude. What does photography mean to you? Having specialized in "female" photography, let's say that I try to represent the everyday femininity. The simplicity of a look, the wink of an expression, the provocation in an attitude. In short, everything that makes the female world full of charm and at the same time mystery. I try to unveil and discover this universe always leaving space for imagination. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. That’s a good question! I would be particularly presumptuous if I thought I had created a new photographic genre. I usually like to contextualize my photos, not leaving the subject alone by itself but letting it act with the environment in which shooting takes place. That's all.

Where do you get inspiration from? I am very instinctive. If I do not have a project commissioned with the request of setting photographs into a particular mood, I let the inspiration of the moment emerge. The feeling that I create with the model is very important. Mutual trust is essential for the success of a set. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? A photograph is always thought before the shooting. It is planned to be in color or in black and white. The choice between color and black and white is just a personal vision of the images I have in mind to realize and what I want to convey to the eye of the observer. Studio, on location or both? I do not have any preference for indoor or outdoor locations. I like, as I said before, let the models act with the environment where the set takes place to make everything as natural as possible.
What has been your most memorable session and why? The one not shot yet! We must never rest on what we have already done well, but we must look forward, always trying to improve and get better results. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Since I switched to digital, I've always used the Nikon brand. My favorite lenses are definitely the 24-70 f2.8 and the 50mm f1.4 that are always in my bag of photographic equipment. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Humility. Always put yourself to test and do not be afraid of the critics that can be addressed to you. Read, study and learn from the great Photographers and as I said before, never rest ... You never stop learning.

Model Vlada Shtepa (Ukraine) Can you tell us a little about you? My name is Vlada. I'm 18 years old. I'm studying Chinese and English translation. Like photo very much as you can see. Like working in fashion area and some experiments with clothes. Always ready for new experience in fashion industry. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? Maybe grow up higher haha. That's it. I don't wanna change anything. I like myself as I'm. How did you start modeling? Once upon a time, I was walking down the street and one woman began talking with me. She said :"OMG, what a beautiful legs ( but I didn't think that haha) , you should come to model agency". She was a designer. But I didn't catch it and forgot. Some times later, when I began to promote my Instagram page ( be the way " vlada_shtepa":), one brand wrote to me and asked whether I would like to make shooting with them for their new collection of bags. I agreed. After this time I began to receive more and more massages from different shops and brands. What do you think of the work as a model? Modeling is not as easy as you think. Customer never knows the way of this long shooting without any even food break, or cold weather while shooting in swimsuits for summer collection. Customer just gets a good result like a picture that attracted him. What is your beauty regimen? Sleep enough, eat healthy food, drink a lot of water. Clean up your skin every morning and evening, moisturize, no over makeup. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I'm a hardworker. Everybody tells me that. If I want something - I will get it. By all means and ways. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? It is strange, but my favorite experience was my first time on Ukrainian fashion week. My portrait photography journey started about six years ago. I always had a passion with photography, got my first pro camera before 8 years. Photographer Julia Kopeć (Poland) Can you tell us a little about you? I am second year student of architecture in Wroclaw, interested in music and photography. I’ve been playing the piano for 15 years, and taking photos for 7 years. I love visiting new places, looking for amazing architecture, and breathtaking views. How and when did you get into photography? I started taking photos when I was 14 years old, inspired by my friend’s blog. It seemed really interesting to me, so I began running with camera through forest and collecting money for my own one. When I finally bought it, I started photographing people, and that’s what I enjoy the most. Actually as a future architect, I’m also taking photos of urban spaces, and buildings. What does photography mean to you? Something that is the most important thing about photography for me – colecting memories. I’m doing lots of photos of strangers, but the most important ones show my family and close friends. It’s amazing, that I can catch the moment, materialize it, and come back to it, whenever I want. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Most of my photos show people, and lots of them were made during golden hour. It’s definietly my favourite time to take portraits. It is said, that you shouldn’t take photos against the light, but in photography shouldn’t be any prohibitions! If you think that something can give you satisfying resul – just do it. 2 years ago I fell in love with urban portrais, just model in simple outfit against the background of little (or big) architecture. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I can describe myself as experienced amateur. I’m doing lot of photos for my own satisfaction, and to enlarge my portfolio, but I have also paid orders. Nothing else to add!

Where do you get inspiration from? I find inspiration in everything. Sometimes when I come across a perfect place, I already have all photoshoot in my head, sometimes I’m looking for ideas on Pinterest, Instagram or other social medias. Last week I found an inspiration during painting classes at college, when I was mixing paint colors. Another time I saw girl with unique outfit walking down the street, and I thought that I have to do photoshoot in this style. Inspirations are everywhere, if you are good at looking around. :) Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Most of my photos are the result of a lucky case and good capture of the moment, but I have a few ones, which were planned from the begining. It’s usually depends on the place where I wanted realise a photoshoot, or my model’s beauty – when I want to use her potential in the right way. It’s really hard to meet your expectations in reality, because of obstacles like a weather, money or a distance. The most important thing is do not give up, and always trying to push your barriers! Studio, on location or both? Without second though – location. I’m not made for taking photos in tiny room with artificial light, I love using natural light, and inspire yourself during the photoshoot, looking around at the surrounding areas. I’m not limited by walls, I can change the place whenever I want. I’m used to walk large distances with my photo-crew during photosessions, and I really enjoy feeling fatigue after them! What has been your most memorable session and why? It definietly was photoshoot with Milena, which had place on the roof of a block of flats, during the sunset. We had so much fun (like always with her), but when the time of return has arrived, we had so much problems getting out of it… I was the most panicked of our team. Bruises had left, but we managed this!

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? I’m using Nikon. I don’t have many lenses, actually my favourite for portraits is 50mm f/1.8. In a few days I’m gonna become the owner of Sigma 18-35 f/1.8, and it will probably be my best lens for architecture shoots. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? Taking a lot of pictures! Practise makes perfect. Can you tell us a little about you? I am 25 years old, living in Poland. I love modeling, genealogy and I always turn loud music in my car. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I would like to be less stressed about everything. I am Scorpio which is usually perfectionist and it is really difficult to accept something which is not perfect. I could be higher as well (I’m just 159 cm). How did you start modeling? I found an offer in one of models group on Facebook where a photographer was looking for a model on tfp rules. Then he introduced me to a tfp passionate group of photographers, models, make up artists who want to improve their skills. It was February 2015 and now the photographer is of my best friends. What do you think of the work as a model? Being a model is not that easy as people think. You need to always look great and be prepared for long lasting photoshoot. Even when I am tired I am giving 200% of myself because it is really important for me to make great photos. And I must say that it is worth it. Usually me, photographer and rest of the team is very happy about effects of our cooperation. What is your beauty regimen? I really pay attention to precisely remove my make up. It is very important “base” to for next steps in your skincare and makeup. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? Since I remember, I always liked original things. In fashion, I am able to wear very visible clothes with strong color or extraordinary patterns. My daily outfit is simple but sometimes I like to go crazy with it. What are your plans for the future? I would like to develop myself at work and in my private life. I want to keep being a model all the time and cooperate with new amazing people. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? One of my best photoshoots which allowed me to participate in worshops with one of the best photograpers in my city. I wrote to him because I really wanted to be there, we arranged photo session and from now on I am a model on almost every worshops he organize. Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Never give up. Many people told me that I am to short or too fat for being a photomodel. Yes, those above are important but even more important is your attitude. Can you tell us a little about you? Artist with dreams that consistently implements. There is nothing impossible for me. I am a beginner photographer from Poland. In photography, I'm most attracted to continuous metamorphosis. This powerful medium gives me the freedom to express myself and the opportunity to share with people what I love to do. As a photographer, I work with women (not models) every day and remind them of what femininity is. To me, each of them is unique, sensual and beautiful. How and when did you get into photography? It was a conscious plan. 13 years ago I started working as a photomodel. 7 years ago as a make up artist and stylist. Now it is time for me to use my skills, knowledge and experience on the other side of the lens. Photography closes the circle. I have everything I need to direct a photo shoot I started in March 2017 and my photos very quickly met with appreciation. It was my dream. And now it's happening. What does photography mean to you? It's my passion and work. My whole life. I feel I give the world some-thing of value. Photo sessions are my tool to help people. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I am a portrait photographer. I love showing femininity, sensuality and attractiveness of women. I'm at the beginning of my road. It's hard to write about style. Every photo session is different. Because the man who comes to me is the most important. Idea, place, styling and makeup should match the person. I always try to make my clients feel good with how I see them. Where do you get inspiration from? From life. I like to watch people, situations, relationships. People inspire me such they are. With the advantages and disadvantages. Each of them has to tell a story. They have something that they loves or hates. I just listen to them... That'senough. Studio, on location or both? I love using interiors. Model - Agnieszka Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Yes. Very often, in my head I have readymade cadres I want to do. I know what effect I want to get. But one of the photographers who tught me a lot told me that I have the talent to catch people in natural, spontaneous moments. So sometimes there is no plan. Only pure emotions. The same person told me that photography is a battlefield without rules. I think he's right. Do what you feel. Show people how you see the world. Surely there are some who look just like you. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? I am currently earning money on taking pictures. It's not a hobby. It's my passion, but work too and I love it. :)
What has been your most memorable session and why? One day a shy girl came to me. Conductor. This was her first session. She had a beautiful smile. But during the session she was very stressed. I wanted to have that smile on the photo. Unfortunately, whenever I lifted the camera up, her smile disappeared. I asked her: What are you thinking about? About different things. Something nice? About my husband. What is the nicest memory associated with him? When I first conducted. He was there? What did he do? He was. And he looked at me ... with fascination. And then her face changed. It's easy to guess what happened. I caught that beautiful smile. It was so amazing. Memo-ries open up people. Really. What has been the biggest source of inspiration in your work? My own life... I am a woman. I work with women. I had better and weaker moments. They too. I know how sad it is when you do not appreciate your-self. I know how tiring life is when you forget about time for yourself. We talk about our experiences, complexes, men, children.. This is not just a photo ses-sion. This is something more. Photos are the result of our work. Yes. But more important for me is how these women feel after meeting with me. For me they are all beautiful, clever and unique. I just remind them about it. Can you tell us a little about you? Hi I am Anette Matsson and I am a 50+ freelancing photographer. I live in Sweden in a small town called Vansbro. I am not working with anything else for the moment and can devote my time on photography. How and when did you get into photography? I have always been interesting in pictures, art and photos. Got my first camera when I was 12 years old from my father who has been working with photography eralier in his life. What does photography mean to you? It means a lot! I love to see how my dreams take forms in front of the camera. And to see the beauty in life, both nature, animals and people thrue my lens and then became the photo that I thought about! Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. Oh! That wasn´t easy!! I do a a couple of different styles but try to make it to my own! First I love to make Fine Art Portraits, and if there is a bit of fairytales in it it´s better. And then I do love to take fashion photos. I am still trying to learn more about that! Where do you get inspiration from? I get my inspiration from all kind of photos and other pictures! And I have a head full of idéas!! I pick small pieces from different places and put them together. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? If I could change anything about me ... I would like to be more serene with myself. I wouldn’t like to create anymore obstacles for myself and to live a little lighter. How did you start modeling? I started modeling by chance, making me self-portraits in the absence of other models such a photographer. I learned to become a model for myself before I became a model for others. What do you think of the work as a model? Working as a model is difficult. It takes practice, you have to learn to be comfortable in front of the lens and always you must know what to do, and it's not trivial. If you have certain physical qualities, you must maintain them as such. It is a psychological commitment. What is your beauty regimen? Beauty has no rules. Beauty emphasizes a person's liking. The beauty can be the laughter, the voice, or the perfume. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? Sono una persona estremamente determinata. Non mi faccio scoraggiare dai pregiudizi o altro. Credo molto in quello che faccio, mi impegno e ci metto passione. What are your plans for the future? In the future I wish I could work as a photographer. I would like to get up in the morning, next to a very important person who loves me, asking me which city I will travel the next day to take the photos. Go far, discover new places and new people to collaborate with and grow. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? I don’t know I have had a lot of very nice experiences. Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Practice, try, experiment. Believe in yourself. Photographer Katarzyna Staniorowska (Poland) Can you tell us a little about you? I'm polish photographer from Wroclaw (Poland). Recently, I got a Master's degree in Finance. Now I have a break so I can build my portfolio. How and when did you get into photography? My adventure began with analogues in the Youth Culture House. It was a magical place full of the smell of chemistry from the photographic darkroom. What does photography mean to you? Photography is a passion and the way I can show other people how I see things. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. I love fashion photography and portraits. I like to catch moments, expressions and light. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? Currently it's my hobby.
Where do you get inspiration from? Pinterest is a great source of inspiration for me. I can dig there for hours. After watching so many photos I am very mo-tivated to create and develop my workshop. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? No, I rather work when I see the whole scenery with make-up, clothes, etc. You never know if there will be wind in the scenery or how the dress will look like... Sometimes I think about a specific shoot, but then I just forget about it and do my thing. Studio, on location or both? Both. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? Canon, but in my opinion I could work on any photo equipment. My favourite lenses are 50mm and 2470mm.

What has been your most memorable session and why? Few months ago I organised large photosession with horses. It was difficult, because I had to cancel the session two or three times, change the model and change make-up artist. On final day we met on railway station at 7 am and traveled to our beautiful destination - Dworzysko in Szczawno-Zdroj. It was a cold January day, so I had to work fast, because my model was freezing. Despite everything, we had a lot of fun. Those girls were the best team I could dream of.
What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?Be creative and never give up. Take a lot photos and learn on your mistakes. Can you tell us a little about you? I am a polish photomodel from Poznań. I love fashion and join it with photography. I like to create fashion stylizations. It really develops me and I have a lot of ideas to implement. If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be? I would like to be taller, I think 175 cm would be fine. How did you start modeling? Many people have told me, that I should be a model. At the beggining I have been embarrassed and I have rejected their opinions. During studies, a friend of mine, who is a photographer, has made me the first photo session. It has been a breaktrough for me. What do you think of the work as a model? I really love it. It is my word, my hobby and passion. When I work I feel a lot of energy and I have a lot of new ideas. What is your beauty regimen? I prefer natural beauty. I rarely do make up and I do not use foundation. Skin and hair care is really important. I use natural cosmetics. I am crazy about my hair. I use a lot of oils and masks to save them. What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others? I love working in front of the camera so I can work a lot and it is hard to make me really tired. I think I am devoting myself to this work. What are your plans for the future? When I stop posing for photos I want to work in the fashion industry. What are some of your favorite experiences so far? It is difficult for me to choose one, specific session. I love to pose and I usually have fun. I cannot recall a session which would be hard for me and which I would like to forget. Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling? Do not listen to opinions of others. People who have no idea about our industry should not give any advices. How and when did you get into photography? The first attempts to record the world around us were back in 2007–2008 with the appearance of the first digital camera in the family. More seriously and consciously I began photographing in 2009, when at my brother's wedding I met a photographer Igor Shcherbina, who fascinated me with this process and later taught the basics of this business, I am very grateful for this. What does photography mean to you? Photography is the way to leave something behind in this world. A trace in the history, by your leave. To draw people's attention to the beauty that surrounds them every day. That is why most of the girls in my photos are not professional models, but ordinary girls, that everyone saw on the street, but simply did not pay attention to them. Many times I heard from people the question "Where do you get such beautiful models?", But all you need to look more closely at others. Also, I rarely use the services of makeup artists and practically do not shoot in the studios - I want to see as little artificial in the frame as possible. Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers. It is difficult to describe your own creativity. I would formulate my style as 'minor eroticism': muted colors, little light, bright accents on a general dark background, sensual emotions of models and nakedness. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional? As to portraiture and erotic shooting I would call myself an amateur who is sometimes paid for his work. Where do you get inspiration from? Probably my answer will sound banal, but everything can be a source of inspiration - movies and music, pictures and photographs of other authors, cities and people. You might see a generally accepted masterpiece and do not feel anything, but having a chance meeting or a conversation with an interesting person you get a charge of inspira-tion a year in advance. It is in the air, you just need to be open and attentive. Think you in advance what you want in the picture? Of course there is a certain picture that you think about and which you are guided by, but most times a photo session is an improvisation in which the photographer's vision, location, light and a model are mixed. I like to shoot this way more than think through all the nuances of shooting in advance. Often, I let the model go in a creative flight and just fix everything that she does. Studio, on location or both? I do not like studios. At the very beginning of my journey I shot only in the studio and it became boring to me. At some point, I discovered the magic of natural light and since then we have friend-ship. Speaking about locations I prefer apartments or hotel rooms, although sometimes there is a mood for street shooting. The main requirement is the absence of strangers who greatly interfere with the process. What has been your most memorable session and why? I remember almost all my shootings. There are not so many of them like other photographers may have. Many of photographers take photos in a month more than I do in a year. In addition, there is usually nothing extraordinary at the shoot. However, I can probably single out one of the filming in 2015, which I had in Kiev. In 2011, at one of the photo sites, I saw a model Roxana Konyuk and my little photographic dream was to take pictures of her. And in 2015, she wrote to me and offe-red to work together, and I, of course, gladly agreed. This case became for me a kind of indicator of my own development, as well as joint work in the same period of time with such models as Lee Tattar and Lada Brik. Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens? At the moment I use a Canon 6D camera and a Tamron 24-70 lens. This is a universal kit and I feel comfortable with it. But I remain an adherent of Nikon technology, and my favorite lens is 85 mm 1.4. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business? At the moment I am not a successful commercial photographer, so I probably won't be able to give advice on photo business. But for beginners, I have a tip - find your direction and delve into it, becoming the best in your genre. It is better to be a master in one genre than a medium in a dozen areas. What do you think of our new magazine? New magazines with interviews of photographers are always good.
