The current Guidelines, which have been in use since 2002, are in the process of being updated. They will be renamed the “Transportation Review Guidelines,” and eventually it will be a two-part document. Part 1, which is currently in draft, will update the methods and practices used to evaluate traffic impacts of development. Part 1 will also add several transportation review procedures which are not related to traffic impact studies or their preparation. Part 2, which is to be completed no later than June 1, 2013, will guide the determination of findings of adequate pedestrian and bikeway facilities in relation to council bill CB-002-2012.
