THE HUNT IS ON TO FIND THE MOST POPULAR PET PORTRAIT IN THE REGION!

Pets have become such an important part of the family – they are loyal companions that are a joy to come home to. We wanted to see your best photos, or Pawtraits, of the animals that are part of your family. You sent us cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils, ferrets and more. To celebrate we are showcasing the pet portraits in this picture special supplement. You can play your part in crowning the winners through our reader vote. Simply choose your favourite from the photographs featured and cut out the voting tokens which will be printed every day until Saturday, November 11, 2023. To get the ball rolling your first 20 vote token is printed opposite.

The pet with the highest number of overall votes will win and be crowned the Shropshire Star’s most popular Pawtrait Pet of the year 2023 and will win £500, second place will receive £300 and £200 will be awarded to third place. So, rally round your family and friends to collect and send as many votes as you can! Please look out for special bonus voting token days when we will publish up to 100 votes! Terms and conditions: Photocopied or defaced tokens will not be accepted. Special voting tokens received without a completed Voting Tokens Return Form before or after the deadline will not be counted. All vote tokens, along with a completed Voting Tokens Return Form, must be received by 5pm on Friday, November 17, 2023. The form is also printed below. You may vote for more than one pet. Just indicate on the form how many votes you wish to allocate to each pet, up to a maximum of three per form. Don’t worry if you need another form, they will be printed every Saturday during the voting period.
