MINE! ALL MINE!
Art shows in Mount Morgan have been few and far between in the last few years, but Friday night’s “Mine! All Mine!” exhibition featuring an array of landscapes, portraits and more were on display. The five artists involved - Pauline Grabham, Anne Copeland, Nicholai Tonslamann, Lousie Jones and Nancy Liddle (pictured above), working on the platform provided by the group, Visual Arts 4714, showed that artistic talent abounds in Mount Morgan. The majority of artwork focussed around the Mount Morgan Mine - whichi also provided the name of the exhibition. Indigenous artist and elder, Faylyn Lamb performed the Welcome to Country and the exhibition was officially opened by Mr Peter Mellor, Heritage Minerals Commercial Director. Continued on Page 2
