HERITAGE MINERALS PROJECT UPDATE
Heritage Minerals Project Update Participants. Photo supplied. About 90 people attended the Heritage Minerals Project Update held at the Soldiers’ Rooms on Wednesday, 27 November. Presentations were given by Company Director, Peter Mellor, Director Corporate Affairs, Craig Wilson, Andrew Lawry – General Manager Operations and Project Delivery and Human Resource Manager – Rob Mulholland. Rockhampton Regional Council
(RRC), Mayor Tony Williams and Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development (DNRMMRRD) Andrew Grabski were also available to present their perspectives and to answer questions from the floor Topics covered included employment, council approvals, continuation of earthworks, site office construction and the
relocation of the evaporative fans. These were relocated in preparation for the construction of the coffer dam between Sandstone Gully and the Open Cut. The relocation of the evaporative fan was carried out by Heritage Minerals and is an example of how the company works with the DNRMMRRD. Continued on Page 2
