HIGH SCHOOL JOURNEY BEGINS FOR YEAR 6
4-6 December were busy days for Mount Morgan Central State School Students as the school students and staff prepared for the summer holidays. On Wednesday, 4 December the achievements of all students were acknowledged at the annual awards presentation day. Principal Michelle Emery congratulated the students on their achievements and conduct
throughout the year. She said parents should be as proud of the students as the teachers were. Also happening on 4 December was the Year 6 graduation evening at the Soldiers’ Rooms. On Thursday, 5 December students staged a Christmas Concert and on Friday, 6 December students formed a “guard of honour” to acknowledge the Year 6 students
ascent to High School. Citizenship Award: Prep – Aurora Hayes, Year 2 – Skyla Jamieson and Year 4 – Princess Hemara, Year 5 – Allira Weldon. Art Award: Prep – Tehya McLoughlin, Year 1 – Cecilia Coombes, Year 2 – Ava Herde, Year 3 – Keilah Roginson, Year 4 – Elijah Webster and Year 5 – Jaedyn McCrory.
