Figure Skating Dress
This dress was a comission from a friend, she needed a competition dress to wear when ice skating. I used a mix of flat patterning and draping techniques to bring this together, and applied 1,500+ rhinestones by hand

Figure Skating Dress
This dress was another comission from a friend, who also needed a competition dress. Again I used a mix of flat patterning and draping techniques to create my design, and hand sewed green and gold applique to the belt and cuffs. All the rhinestones were applied by hand.

Aroura Dress
This dress was created for the 2025 Omaha Fashion Week spring show. It was inspired by the music of Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, and sought to create a dreamy and ethereal image of a dancing flower. The bodysuit and skirt were draped on a dress form and the flowers that adorn the neckline and attached by hand.

Pink Teddy

The shorts were flat patterned and closed with 2 side ties on each side seam. The bandeau, and the sleeves of the nightie were flat patterned and the rest was draped.

Concept Development
This is an assignment from Apparel Design for Industry, where in students were tasked with creating a mini collection guided by trend research and target market analysis. I chose to target competitive figure skaters and created designs with aquatic themeing.
Also keeping in mind design details that bring visual intrigue on and off the ice and makes for a more engaging viewing experience, such as double layered skirt and flounced sleeves, which allow the fabric to flare out and dance while the wearer is spinning or jumping.
