A distinguished veteran from the Indian Army who has done the nation proud with his achievements on and off the battlefield. Having been the Commander of the strategic Natula Pass, he has served in inhospitable terrain under sub zero temperatures and has led numerous death defying operations as an army commando. An alumnus of Officers Training Academy, he was commissioned into the Swift Seventeenth Battalion of the Jat Regiment which had taken part in the Kargil conflict, earning the battle honours Mashkow Warriors. During May 1999 the unit secured Point 4875 after hand to hand combat which led to the capture of Tiger Hill & thus resulted in the celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26th July every year since then.

MAJOR V V NARAYANAN (RETD)
A Masters in Economics & a graduate in Vaishnavism, both from the Madras University he was awarded Mr Madras title from the then Chief Minister Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR and has represented the country in South Asian Federation games in the martial art of Silambam. He is also the founding member of several clubs of the Toastmasters International and the Professional Speakers Association of India and is the current President of Hypnotique Circle, the oldest forum of hypnosis in India.
