Jaithirth Rao, popularly known as Jerry Rao, is an Indian businessman and entrepreneur. He is the founder and former CEO of the software company MphasiS. Rao started MphasiS Corporation, a software company based in California, which subsequently merged with BFL Software in 2000. MphasiS rapidly rose to be one of the top 10 IT/BPO companies in India. Rao held several positions in Citibank prior to his founding MphasiS in 1998. In a banking career of over 20 years, he served with Citi and its parent Citicorp in various capacities in Asia, Europe, South America, and North America. He was Head of the Development Division of Citicorp and Chairman and CEO of Transaction Technologies Inc., based in California.
Rao is a recipient of several distinguished business and government recognitions. He has been the Chairman of India’s National Association of Software and Service Companies – NASSCOM. He was named the Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2004' for the New York region along with MphasiS Vice Chairman Jeroen Tas,
which
followed
his
being
similarly
awarded
in
India
for
the
year
2001
previously.
In
2005,
the
Government of the Indian state of Karnataka honored him with the Rajyotsava Award.
Rao is an alumnus of Loyola College in Chennai, Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad and the University of Chicago. He has also been given a Distinguished Alumnus Award from Loyola College, IIM

Venkatraman Thyagarajan (Thyagi), a veteran of GlaxoSmithKline for 38 years, is currently actively involved as an Advisor/Mentor to a Singapore based med-tech start-up and a venture funded healthcare Company in India. He has been an Independent NonExecutive Director on Boards of global companies like Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, India’s leading software company with a turnover in excess of US$20 billion; Varian Medical Systems Inc, U.S.A., a world leader in Medical Equipment/Systems; the Murugappa Group of Companies, a leading family owned conglomerate in South India with a turnover in excess of US$4 billion; and before his retirement from GSK in 2008, served on the Board of International Enterprise (I.E.) Singapore, a statutory board of the Government of Singapore responsible for promoting Singapore’s overseas trade. Thyagi was also the Vice-Chairman
and
Non- Executive Director on the Board of GlaxoSmithKline Ltd in India, a publicly listed company, from 2008-2015. As a member of the Audit Committees as well as the Nomination& Remuneration
Committees of the Companies he was on the
Board of, Thyagi has had direct involvement in corporate governance issues and the critical role of Independent Directors.His involvement in publicly listed Companies, MNC’s and Family owned Companies in India and the US, has given him unique insights into the expectations and challenges facing Boards and into what goes into the making of an effective Board. Thyagi also acts as a Thinking Partner for CEOs and newly appointed senior level leaders, providing guidance, input and feedback that is unbiased, objective and detached, and not limited by the internal organisation’s structure and dynamics. Thyagi, a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management (Ahmedabad) had a 38-year global career with GlaxoSmithKline. This included senior executive roles as Marketing Consultant in Spain and Europe, Marketing Director of Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe and Managing Director of GSK India, culminating with his role as Regional Director and Senior Vice President of GSK Asia Pacific, a position he held from January 2003 till May 2008. In this capacity, he was a member of the International Management Team of GSK. Thyagi was also Chairman of PhRMA (Pharmaceutical
Research
Manufacturers of America) for Asia from April 2005 till February2008, leading the industry’s advocacy with governments in the region.

Over the years, Thyagi has built a strong track record in strategy, operational management and leadership development, complemented
by senior level Board experience in reputable companies/groups. He brings a unique East-West perspective to
the table, having worked in both developed and emerging markets, an in-depth knowledge of Asia and Asian markets, combined with his expertise in running significant business operations for a global corporation in Asia.
Atul Vohra is a purpose and customer driven leader who has built brands, businesses and teams across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. He has built start-ups and transformed mature businesses in Consumer, Financial and Technology Services across Fortune 50 companies (Unilever, American Express, Citi, Dell) and mid-sized Public and PE owned (Solera) companies. He is currently the Regional Managing Director for Global Customers at Solera the leading global auto and insurance risk and asset management company.
Vohra's leadership style and was developed through early Brand and Sales responsibilities in consumerpackaged goods and services at Pond's India Limited (now part of Unilever).
