Mr V J Raghunath Author - “Mid-Wicket Tales” & Consultant, Azim Premji Founation V. J. Raghunath is a retired chemical engineer who now consults with Azim Premji Foundation. He was a very stylish left-handed batsman and a fearless close-in fielder who thrilled his coaches in school. He was awarded the A. F. Wensley prize for the most promising schoolboy cricketer for three years running. He led the Madras Colts team to Bombay in 1968 and played first-division league with the best cricketers of Madras and Bombay in his twenties

Mr S Giridhar Author - “Mid-Wicket Tales” & Member, Azim Premji Foundation S Giridhar is one of the earliest members of Azim Premji Foundation. He joined them in 2002 after over twenty years in corporate business management roles. When the Foundation established the Azim Premji University, Giri became the first Registrar and Chief Operating Officer. These years with the Foundation have turned out to be a very fulfilling phase of his life. He writes for various publications on issues of public education and development, drawing from what he observes and experiences on the ground. Giridhar also wrote, ‘Ordinary People, Extraordinary Teachers: The Heroes of Real India’ (Westland Books, 2021), a book that is a tribute to our heroic government schoolteachers. Giri and Raghu have an enduring cricket writing partnership that started with essays for ESPNCricinfo.com and now features three books. Their latest book is ‘Mid-wicket Tales: A Century and More of Cricket’, published in September 2023. It is a revised, expanded edition of their acclaimed first book.

Mr T A Sekhar Former Indian Cricketer & MRF Pace Foundation Coach T A Sekhar was a fast bowler who represented India in Test cricket and One Day Internationals. Sekar was one of the fastest bowlers in India in the early eighties. His two Test matches were in the 1982–83 season when he was flown out to Pakistan to replace the injured Madan Lal.He played a One Day International in that series and three more against England two years later. Sekar played for Tamil Nadu between 1976/77 and 1987/88 taking 74 wickets. His career best effort was 9 for 54 against Kerala in 1981/82. He played for Madhya Pradesh for two seasons before bowing out of the game. Since then his major contribution to Indian cricket was as a bowling coach at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai where he was chief coach for several years, working with leading pace bowlers from across the world. He also served as South Zone representative on the National Selection Committee for a period of time. He was later appointed as a talent scout for Mumbai Indians.

As an experienced promoter, he boasts a proven track record in the sports industry, showcasing expertise in Sports Analytics, Sports Digital Transformation, Social Media, and Public Relations. SportsMechanics has established collaborations with nearly eight national federations, and as part of their developmental initiative, they aspire to increase sports participation. Mr. Ramakrishnan firmly believes that in India, the Right to Play is integral for the Right to Educate, asserting that RTP (Right to Play) is crucial for success.
