Chairman’s foreword Another lockdown, this time for four weeks until the 2nd December. It is a hard and difficult time for all of us. You may well have concerns or worries in this time. Please don’t bottle those feelings up. Share them with your family and friends or indeed our wonderful staff. During this next lock down period our staff will be doing as much as possible to help support all our residents in whatever way we can. Although we won’t be running a normal service, we will be doing all we can to keep it as near to normal as possible. So please do keep reporting repairs that need doing – we will be undertaking essential repairs and our Multi skills Operative will be around. SHO’s will be working on site so do have a chat to them if you want to raise anything. Above all stay safe and well and take care of yourselves and others. And I remind you that we all have our part to play to tackle the virus – remember ‘hands, face, space’. If you have any of the main Covid-19 symptoms (below), you need to book a test here: www.gov.uk/ get-coronavirus-test • • •
New, continuous cough High temperature Loss of or change to sense of taste or smell.
Please let your SHO know if you test positive and contact them if you need support to access a test. Together, we will get through this. Pewterers Court in Autumn looking beautiful.
