Welcome to Mix Awards North 2025, the biggest night for commercial interior design across the north of the UK and the island of Ireland – for many of us, the start of the festive season.
Tonight is a particular highlight for the Mix Interiors team, and I know so many of you, because it’s not just a party, not even simply an awards presentation – it’s a unique testament to the sheer breadth and quality of design emanating from the North and Ireland. By shining a spotlight on these regions, we show that they undeniably hold their own in terms of innovation and creativity; the talent here up there with the very best in the world.
And so we’ve come together, as we always do at this time of year, to celebrate the most exceptional projects and products of the last 12 months, as well as the people behind them. Yet again, it’s been a record-breaking year, with more entries than ever before. It’s more evidence, if ever needed, that from Edinburgh to Dublin, Belfast to Manchester, Cardiff and beyond, not only do we have magnificent work to enjoy on our various doorsteps, but homegrown studios are also finding both national and global success.
Congratulations then to all of those shortlisted, a feat in itself. I’d like to thank our judges for deploying their experience and expertise in choosing tonight’s winners, and, of course,
to our sponsors who help make Mix Awards North possible.
You can share what a magnificent night you’re having on social by tagging us @mix.interiors and using the hashtag #MixAwardsNorth.
Enjoy,
Harry McKinley Managing Editor
