I have just been thinking about this wonderful art, already it is being killed in my mind. Is nothing safe? Perhaps you haven’t thought me serious? Actually I am. And if this paper should fall into the hands of someone who owns a construction company and who is interested in promoting art and my ideas, please get in touch with me immediately. Across the two stages of this vertical studio, built and unbuilt projects are considered as providing models for developing methods to address the complexities of intervening in historical contexts; on existing structures; in traditional urban settings but also for addressing the predicament of institutional structures since World War II, which amounts to an ideological crisis, including of signification and representation.
