Illustrating the university experience of students who have a criminal record You are being invited to take part in a research study. You do not have to take part if you do not want to. Please read this information, which will help you decide. 1. What is the purpose of the study? The study aims to explore responses to an online exhibition. 2. Why have I been invited to participate? You have been invited to participate in this study because you have viewed an online exhibition. 3. Do I have to take part? No. If you do not want to take part that is OK. If you do want to take part, we ask that you complete the feedback survey. 4. What will happen to me if I take part? If you would like to take part, please complete the feedback survey which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Once you have completed the survey, please click the ‘Submit my Feedback’ button at the end of the survey. As the survey is anonymous, your responses cannot be withdrawn once you submit your written feedback. 5. Are there any potential risks in taking part? Participating in the research is not anticipated to cause you any disadvantages or discomfort. The potential physical and/or psychological harm or distress will be the same as any experienced in everyday life. 6. Are there any benefits in taking part? There will be no personal benefit to you from taking part in this study. 7. What will happen to information/data provided? Study data will include your responses to the Feedback survey which will be confidentially destroyed once the data has been transferred to a Microsoft One Drive Folder. As Feedback surveys are anonymous, once your data has been submitted you will not be able to withdraw from the study. 8. Who is organising and who is commissioning the study? This study is organised by Liverpool John Moores University. 9. Whom do I contract if I have a concern about the study or I wish to complain?
