FALL 2026
Boyne City Public Schools: Excellence in Academics, Arts, & Athletics
From the Superintendent’s Desk “Portrait of a Rambler” Defines Excellence in Boyne City Schools! Why do our kids go to school? How do we prepare students for an everchanging world of work while teaching them to be good people? And how do we support every single child on their unique journey to graduation? The answers to these questions form the foundation of our ongoing, communitywide initiative: The Portrait of a Rambler. This framework defines six core attributes we are committed to developing in every student, from preschool to high school graduation. This journey began one year ago with collaborative brainstorming sessions involving community members, Board of Education members, and our dedicated staff. We also gathered vital feedback through community surveys and student focus groups to ensure our Rambler culture supports the development of kids of all ages, ability levels, and interests.
Community members, staff, and stakeholders came together to collaborate on the development of the Portrait of a Rambler, a shared vision that highlights the skills, characteristics, and values that define a Boyne City graduate.
