In memory of all Missouri Military Academy alumni, faculty and staff who gave their lives to protect the American way of life and our future. Originally constructed as a memorial to honor alumni, faculty and staff killed in action during war, the chapel now also memorializes those alumni, faculty and staff who died in the War on Terror and first responders who lost their lives in dedicated service to others. Memorial Chapel is used throughout the academic year for the Academy’s weekly Vespers (spiritual) services, school assemblies and periodic choir and music practices. Every cadet who has attended MMA has spent a considerable amount of time in the chapel since 1961.
