NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS Saturday 7th November Save the date of 7th November for MA’s Prayer Morning at Newtownbreda Baptist Church. Join us at 10am for tea & coffee and 10:30am for a morning of giving thanks for all that God has done and is doing across Africa. We’ll also be hearing from Ana van Brakel of her time in the Ivory Coast. We’d love you to attend! 10:02 Prayer Movement The 10:02 Prayer Movement is a global movement built around Jesus’ words in Luke 10:2; ‘the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.’ Each day at 10:02 am or pm, people pause to pray that God would raise up more people to share the Good News of Jesus around the world. It’s a simple reminder that even a quick prayer can be part of something much bigger — people are obeying the call to ‘go and make disciples’ and lives being renewed and changed across the world. Will you join us in praying that God would stir hearts for the urgent need across the continent of Africa?

Give thanks for the summer events that MA was able to attend across NI and Scotland. Give thanks for the conversations and connections made, and pray that these would bear fruit as people consider going or supporting MA.
All of MA’s missionaries were able to spend time back home in UK this summer. Give thanks for the opportunity to rest and reconnect. Pray that as they each return, they would be renewed and excited to share the Good News of Jesus.
Give thanks that our summer teams have returned home from serving in Kenya. Pray for them as they readjust and for the upcoming CSGT sessions as they reflect on their experiences and trust in where God is leading them.

Gaiya Family - Musa and Pamela express their deepest thanks to all who have been praying for their son, Luther, who had a stoke on 31 July. Please keep on praying for Luther to be discharged soon from ICU.
The Gaiya’s Home Assignment in June and July was an encouraging time seeing many of you. Continue to pray that in the midst of everything they will continue to see God at work.
As Musa and Pamela continue to raise their support levels please pray for the work the Lord has entrusted to them. Pray that Gracie will see God’s faithfulness in Grade 11 at Hillcrest School.

Ekanem Family - Remember the Ekanems as they travel back to Nigeria. Gail’s dad sadly passed away at the end of August. Pray for a sense of peace as they grieve and give thanks that Gail was able to spend this time with him.
Pray for a time of recuperation for Gail and Godwin after their health challenges.
The monthly outreach to Godwin’s home village (Ikot Ekpang Prays) takes place on 28th September. Pray for faithful proclamation of the gospel and the transformation of lives.

Child Sponsorship Give thanks that 25 new children will join the child sponsorship programme in September. Pray for each child as they begin school, and for the opportunity they will have each week to learn from God’s Word.
Fulani Ministry - Praise God for His faithfulness in sustaining David Onouche in ministry. Pray for continued grace and strength as he serves among the Fulani and prepares for retirement from the UEC Missions Department in 2031.
Ibia Family - Give thanks for the time Samantha and her family have had at in NI during August. Remember tham as they travel back to Abuja and then on to Jos on 14th September.
Pray for Angel as she starts back to school following her long Summer break.

Pray for both Hepzhibah and Melki as begin their new school term. Give thanks for the time they were able to spend this summer with family in NI, but also pray for them as they adjust back into the new school routine.
Pray for the FCS students as they resume back to school this week, especially for the new students coming to secondary school for the first time. Continue to pray for good relationships with Royal Ambassadors School.
Janet Martin - Janet plans to return to Nigeria this week (16th Sept). Her visa has not yet been granted, continue to pray for the approval of this and that the correct one will be given to allow her to stay in Nigeria for 6 months.

Give thanks for Janet’s love for the Lord and her heart for mission. Pray that as she arrives at Holley Memorial Hospital, she will be a source of encouragement and blessing to those she meets and ministers to.
Morrison Family - Give thanks for David and Lucy’s continued adjustment to life in NI after returning from Chad. Pray for patience and wisdom as they continue to navigate the challenges of cultural re-entry and settle back into life.
Pray for Sophie and Olivia as they adjust to their new primary school after attending a French-speaking school in Chad. Continue to pray for them as they build new friendships, settle into new routines.

Pray for Acacia’s ministry as it continues under new leadership. Pray especially for Fati as she steps into her new role without Lucy, that she would know God’s strength, wisdom and confidence and not feel out of her depth.
Give thanks for Zoe and Abigail’s four weeks in Kenya where they served at Chigoria Hospital. Pray as they return home this week; that their time there was an encouragement and blessing to those they met and ministered to.
Pray for Emma as she is currently serving at Karai Children’s Home. Pray that she would build meaningful and lasting relationships with the children and staff, and have opportunities to share God’s love through her time there.

GracePoint Church Continue to pray for the GracePoint church plant in Kitengela. Pray for wisdom, enthusiasm and strength for the leadership as they serve and bring the Gospel to this community.
Ana van Brakel - Ana has returned to the UK for 6 months. Pray that her time on furlough will be time of refreshment, spiritual blessing and a time to reunite with old friendship and supporters but also to establish new ones.
Give thanks that the school year went well and that all the finalyear students were able to graduate. Give particular thanks for the students financially supported by MA who graduated at the top of their class.

Jeremy Nash - Pray for Jeremy as he travels to Burkina Faso this week, for good health following his heart surgery and safety as he travels. Pray that his time there would strengthen and encourage the church leaders and pastors he meets.
Continue to pray for Robbie and Margaret as they meet with supporters and prayer groups across Scotland. Pray for Robbie as he prepares and speaks in churches, that God would give him wisdom as he shares about the work of MA.
Pray for Paul as he travels to Nigeria to meet with leaders from the UEC Church, exploring ways to partner more effectively in the gospel. Pray for positive conversations, and for a renewed vision for the partnership.

Pray for ongoing discernment for the Council (Board) as they face the challenges of steering MA in an ever changing world and courage to make the necessary decisions as the Lord leads.
Pray for the new mission partners in the UK and Africa who will continue to bring the Gospek to the lost souls in Africa.
Pray as we begin a new season of deputation in many churches; that the Lord will accomplish what He pleases through this.
