NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS Saturday 7th November Save the date of 7th November for MA’s Prayer Morning at Newtownbreda Baptist Church. Join us at 10am for tea & coffee and 10:30am for a morning of giving thanks for all that God has done and is doing across Africa. We’ll also be hearing from Ana van Brakel of her time in the Ivory Coast. We’d love you to attend! 10:02 Prayer Movement The 10:02 Prayer Movement is a global movement built around Jesus’ words in Luke 10:2; ‘the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.’ Each day at 10:02 am or pm, people pause to pray that God would raise up more people to share the Good News of Jesus around the world. It’s a simple reminder that even a quick prayer can be part of something much bigger — people are obeying the call to ‘go and make disciples’ and lives are being renewed and changed across the world. Will you join us in praying that God would stir hearts for the urgent need across the continent of Africa?

Give thanks for our prayer groups in both NI and Scotland who continue to faithfully meet every month and pray for the work of Mission Africa.
Pray for the continuation of the Come See Go Tell Programme, for this summer’s short-term teams and individuals that they would recognise and praise God for the life transformation they have experienced.

03. Praise God for opportunities to share about the work of Mission Africa and pray for upcoming deputations in local churches. Pray for people to respond to the encouragements to pray, give and go.

Gaiya Family - September has passed all too quickly, with Luther still in ICU (after a haemorrhagic stroke on 31 July). Thank God for His daily mercies. Continue to pray for wisdom for the medical staff and for Luther’s full recovery.
Praise God for recent encouragements at ACTS. Continue to pray for students in theological training. Pray that their textbooks will be a help to them as they study the Word of God and prepare for ministry. Pray for all the ACTS staff.
Gracie is looking forward to October break, 19-23 October. Pray for guidance as Musa has a number of engagements to attend in October. Pray for continued strength and a deep sense that the Lord is in control of everything.

Ekanem Family - Praise God for a safe journey back to Nigeria. Pray for Angel as she settles back to her second year in secondary school. Pray for her cousin, Ediomo, who is repeating his first year.
Pray for Jim Westgarth School of Theology in Uyo, as it was inaugurated in September. Pray for wisdom for all involved so that the institution will be established on a firm foundation. Pray for the necessary funding.
Pray for improved health and energy for both Godwin and Gail. Remember the monthly outreach to Godwin’s home village taking place on 13th October.

Child Sponsorship - Give thanks for the continued work of the Child Sponsorship Programme and ahead of their Christmas appeal that they would be able to provide each child with a mosquito net, blanket and duvet.
Pray that the 23 new sponsorship children who are yet without sponsors would be supported. Pray that God would raise up people to commit to sponsoring them.
Ibia Family - Thank God with Samantha for her time at home, for being able to visit some prayer groups and reconnect with many people, and for the safe journey back to Jos.

Pray for assignments and meetings, especially for the meeting of 200 post-secondary school leaders from different universities and colleges and successful deliberation over issues which are hindering the work.
Pray for relationships with Royal Ambassadors School. Pray that God will guide them in knowing the needs of these young people and how He can use them to meet their needs.
Fulani Ministry - Give thanks that many Bassa and Fulani have received Bibles in their own language, pray that God will speak to them through His word.

Give thanks that David has received his new motorbike which is a great help in his outreach work. Pray for him as he continues in this ministry.
Janet Martin - Give thanks that Janet has arrived safely in Nigeria and pray as she begins her ministry there, that she would rekindle and build relationships that will allow her to share the gospel most effectively.
Morrison Family - Thank God for His provisions of a temporary home, car and that the girls are settling in well at school. Pray for us as we debrief, find new routines and settle into life and ministry in Northern Ireland.

Praise God that the handover to Ami-P is going well. Continue to pray for Fati and her increased responsibility. Pray for the Acacia ministry and that God would continue leading.
Pray for good communication oportunities between Lucy and Fati and to a lesser extent the other ladies so that they feel loved and supported.
Pray for Emma as she finishes her time in Kenya after spending 4 weeks in Karai. Pray as she travels back and settles into life at home.

Gracepoint Church Pray for Pastor Patrick as he and his family move to the new church plant in Kitengela this month in order to begin ministry there full time.
Pray for the interns at Gra- Beloved Daughters cepoint Waiyakiway that Rescue Centre - Give have finished their time thanks that the rescue and now begin to discentre family are feeling cern what their next steps encouraged and pray should be. that they would be able to maximise their garden space to grow their own food.

Ana van Brakel - Ana gives thanks for her time at home and connecting again with friends and family. She prays that she will use her time of furlough wisely.
Give thanks for the IPH (Institut Pastoral Hébron), that the holiday period has gone well so far. Pray for the application of sufficient new students for the programs so that a new year can be started.
Give thanks for the Moray Coast Convention which took place in Buckie and the positive responses received from there and from other meetings over the last month.

Pray for Robbie and Margaret as they continue to speak at different churches and events in October. Pray they will be encouraged and be an encouragement to those they are sharing with.
Give thanks for the success of distributing Megavoice devices in both Kenya and Nigeria. Pray that they will be used well so that people can learn more about the Bible and come to know God for themselves.

Pray for the staff team as they work to organise and prepare for MA’s Prayer Morning which will take place next month.
GENERAL
Pray that new partnership opportunities that Paul explored whilst in Nigeria will have positive outcomes and allow the work there to continue and develop further.
