BURKINA FASO
Jeremy Nash -Give thanks that Jeremy was able to travel to Burkina Faso recently. He was visiting familiar Dagari churches as well as new connections. Pray for these Pastors, that their focus would be on their callings.
Praise God for the use of the ‘Look, Listen and Live’ picture books which are being used alongside the Dagari recordings. This means that Sunday school children are now able to hear both the Old Testament and New Testament stories.
NIGERIA
Janet Martin - Janet is considering returning to Nigeria to serve at Holley Memorial Hospital again, pray that God would lead and guide her as she begins to think through this process and meet with the MA Board.
Holley Memorial Hospital - Give thanks for the on-going renovations at Holley Memorial Hospital; new paths have been laid and wards have been painted. Pray that these upgrades will be an encouragement both the staff and patients.
Gaiya Family - March is the third and fnal month of Special Sales at Africa Christian Textbooks. Book Sets are prepared and heavily discounted for pastors and ministers. Pray these resources will be greatly blessed by the Lord.
Pray for Musa as he supervises his PhD students. He has heavy church meetings scheduled for this week too (4th-6th March).
Gracie continues in Grade 10 (Year 12) at Hillcrest School. Her class have been tasked with organising a fun ‘Carnival themed’ day today (07.03.26). Pray that this would be a success and that her class would work together as a team.
Pamela has seen a number of staff from ACTS move to other employment in recent months. Give thanks for a reshuffe in the team and for the new staff who have joined. Pray for good relationships to be established.
Ibia Family - Pray for the continued school visits but also for the Rallies which are joint fellowships that will be taking place in early March. Pray that these events would draw people to a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Continue to pray for the FCS National conference which takes place from 2nd-6th April. Pray for the continued preparations and that God would provide all that is needed. Pray God will also prepare hearts of those who will attend.
Pray for the leadership of FCS as they continue seek God’s guidance for the ministry. Pray also for wisdom, that they would have the courage to follow God’s leading.
Mark Nixon - Continue to pray for Mark and Achele as they settle into married life. Mark will be returning to the UK for 4 weeks to visit his parents and MA. Pray for each of them as they will be apart from each other during this time.
Mark asks that you pray for the continuing opportunities that he has to reach out to surrounding villages. Pray also for the following up of new converts that he will be doing with them.
The schools in Kogi State had been shut for 3 weeks due to growing security concerns. Give thanks that they have now repoened, but continue to pray for this everchanging situation.
Ekanem Family - Pray for Gail in her teaching at William Wheatley Theological College, and for the remaining three sessions of Kids Club. Pray for her as she attends the National Ministers’ Wives’ Executive meeting from 19th to 21st.
Pray for Godwin as he begins the process of renewing the Expatriate Quota this month. Pray for grace, patience and safety for the journey to Abuja.
Pray for the new Chairman of the UEC Church; Revd Dr Daniel Anjorin as he chairs hid frst Ministry and Standing Committees’ meetings in Port Harcourt on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th March. Godwin will be in attendance.
IVORY COAST
Child SponsorshipPray for the family of Emmanuel; a little boy on sponsorship who sadly passed away at the end of February. Pray that they would feel God’s presence and comfort as they grieve.
Ana van Brakel - Give thanks that the Sunday School is going well. Keep praying for enthusiasm for the teachers as they have picked up the challenge and several have been turning up to the training sessions.
Pray for the special Easter outreach in Godwin’s home village. The targeted audience for the Passion of the Christ flm show on 20th April is the Youth. Please pray that God would use this video to open their eyes to their need of Jesus.
CHAD
Morrison Family - The Evangelical Church of Chad who the Morrisons partner with are celebrating 100 years in Chad. Give thanks for this milestone and pray as they prepare to elect a new leadership.
KENYA
Pray for David & Lucy as they plan and prepare for the year ahead. Pray that God would guide and direct them through the unknown terrirtory and changes ahead.
Pray for wisdom, skill and time management for David as he draws up a plan for changes within TEAM Chad’s administrative and fnancial process which will recuce expat-dependence in the long run.
Pray for each member of this years Come See Go Tell programme. Pray that as they work through the book of Romans, that God would be speaking clearly to each of them as they prepare their hearts to serve Him this summer.
Beloved Daughters Rescue Centre - give thanks for the new children who have joined the centre. Pray that they will feel safe and loved. Some of the girls are still awaiting a place in school. Pray for reassurance that God is in control.
SCOTLAND
Pray for Robbie & Margaret as they continue to meet with and encourage supporters across Scotland. Give thanks for several positive meetings this month that Robbie has been able to have with Global Connections Scotland.
GENERAL
Pray for the Board of Mission Africa, that as they look to the future of the mission, God would be in the centre of all their plans. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.
Pray for Camilo, our Social Media Assistant as he plans and prepares for a Zoom training with our missionaries on story-telling. Pray that this will be an encouraging and engaging afternoon for everyone.
Pray for every person who receives a MegaVoice Audio Bible, that they would encounter God through His Word— growing in understanding, faith, and hope as they hear Scriptures spoken to them.
Pray that God would stir hearts with a deep, lasting passion for longterm mission. Pray that people would not be afraid to say ‘yes’ to the call of ‘go and make disciples of all nations.’
