NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are excited to launch our 2026 MegaVoice Project!

Our monthly Zoom prayer meeting takes place on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm. You would be most welcome to join us.

NIGERIA

Janet Martin -Praise God that Janet received the correct Amnesty Visa Document 10 days before she few home. She is extremely grateful for all who prayed during this stressful time.

Around a dozen young people (11-18 years) that Janet was mentoring, want to continue meeting each week. Pray for wisdom for Godwin and Mercy; an experienced couple, who are willing and able to lead them.

Praise God that English and Igala Bibles were once again for sale at Holley Memorial Hospital at the end of January and all were purchased. Many have been asking for a Bible. Pray that God would speak to all who read them.

Mark Nixon - It’s an exciting time for Mark and Achele as they are get- ting married today (4th). Their legal wedding is today and their church ceremony will take place on 28th. Pray for them as they begin their married life together.

Please pray for the new term at PACT and for the new Provost Rev’d Dr Odeli.

Please pray for the former Provost of the College, Rev’d Dr Anjorin as he starts his new responsibility in the church as National Chairman.

Ibia Family - Thank God that Hephzibah and Melki are continuing to settle into their new school in Jos and they are doing well and making new friends.

Pray for our continued meeting and building relationships with the students in our adopted school; Royal Ambassadors, please pray that God will impact their lives through us.

Pray for the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) National Conference which is coming up over Easter weekend, this conference is for all our formations across the nation, pray for all the plans, for the resources needed for this to hold.

Gaiya Family - Praise God for the appointment of a new Finance Director at Africa Christian Textbooks (ACTS). Pray for a smooth transition and a good understanding among staff so that the work would continue to run well.

This is the second month of Special Sales at ACTS. Pray for many to take advantage of the higher discount being offered during this time. Remember Pamela Gaiya as she focuses her attention on inventory management.

Pray for Musa and Pamela Gaiya, along with Gracie, that as a family they’d know the Lord’s guiding hand as Musa prepares for retirement in June. Pray for encouragements in their church life.

Ekanem Family - Pray for Gail as she teaches the Minor Prophets and Principles, Methods and Materials of Education this semester. Pray for Saturday Kids’ Club that God would be at work transforming the children’s hearts.

Pray for Godwin as he works alongside Rev. Dr. Daniel Anjorin, the new National Chairman and his colleagues in the national offce. Pray for a good sense of partnership between Mission Africa and United Evangelical Church.

IVORY COAST

Pray for Angel as she continues striving towards excellence in her studies. Pray for growth in her walk with God, and for good friendships at school.

Child SponsorshipGive thanks for Samson and Moses who have been employed to work with Innocent at the Donegore Centre in Ogugu. Pray for them as they begin this new role and meet the children.

CHAD

Morrison Family - The Evangelical Church of Chad who the Morrisons partner with are celebrating 100 years in Chad. Give thanks for this milestone and pray as they prepare to elect a new leadership.

Ana Van Brakel - Continue to pray for patience with the women. They are tired and several of the families are fnancially very limited which has an impact on the engagement with the lessons.

Give thanks that the Sunday School is going well. Keep praying for enthusiasm for the teachers as they have picked up the challenge and several have been turning up to the training sessions.

Pray for wisdom, skill and time management for David as he draws up a plan for changes in TEAM Chad’s administrative and fnancial processes.

Pray for grace and wisdom for Lucy as she mentors Fati and balances being a mum. Pray that God would clearly guide Fati as she prayerfully considers her commitment to Acacia in the longer term.

The frst night of Come See Go Tell took place at the end of January. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Elaine and Paul as they prepare and lead each session of Come See Go Tell.

Give thanks for those who have signed up to serve Him this summer in Kenya. Pray that their hearts would be challenged as they meet together over the coming months.

Continue to pray for Thogoto Home for the Aged in Kenya. Remember Jane as she continues to serve so faithfully in challenging circumstances.

KENYA

GENERAL SCOTLAND

Give thanks for an enjoyable visit to Nigeria in January. Thank God for health and safety in all our travels and for the time spent with missionaries. We thank God for Pamela in all the planning for and coordination of our visit

Give thanks for the amount of content which Robbie was able to gather on his trip which will be used to share stories of how God is working across Nigeria in our magazine and social media.

Pray for the Board of Mission Africa, that as they look to the future of the mission, God would be in the centre of all their plans. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.

This month, we have welcommed Rolsyn McClelland from Coleraine Prayer Group as a new Board Member of MA. Pray for her and her family as she adjust to this new role.

Pray that God would stir hearts with a deep, lasting passion for longterm mission. Pray that people would not be afraid to say ‘yes’ to the call of ‘go and make disciples of all nations.’

Pray for every person who receives a MegaVoice Audio Bible, that they would encounter God through His Word— growing in understanding, faith, and hope as they hear Scriptures spoken to them.
