Our monthly Zoom prayer meeting takes place on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7pm. You would be most welcome to join us.

Happy Easter! Thank God that Jesus’ death was not a defeat, but a victory over sin, darkness, and death. Pray for each of those serving with MA across Africa, that this week would be a time to share the Good News.
CHAD
Morrison Family - After a season of prayer, the Morrisons have taken the decision to leave Chad at the end of this school year. This is a multi-faceted decision that has come in the midst of a diffcult time for their family.
KENYA
Pray for Fiona and Lucy, as they think about what the future of Acacia looks like in the absence of volunteers - whether thats being folded, being absorbed by another ministry, or continuing similar to its current form. Pray for wisdom.
Pray for each member of this years Come See Go Tell programme. Pray that as they work through the book of Romans, that God would be speaking clearly to each of them as they prepare their hearts to serve Him this summer.
Pray for the Morrisons as they implement succession or contingency plans in their various different roles, for deep wisdom and endurance over the next three months.
Pastor Peter Kamau from Gracepoint Church asks that you would join them in praying for their land project - they are seeking funding for permanent land for the church building. Pray for wisdom and for God’s leading through this.
Ibia Family - Thank God for answered prayer for Hephzibah and Melki who have not just settled in their school but are excelling and making new friends..
Janet Martin - This month, Janet will be starting the process of applying for a visa to return to Nigeria. This process is not straight forward - pray for widom and patience throughout this period.
Sarah Pope will be travelling to Kenya at the end of April. Pray for her as she prepares to spend one month in Kenya. Pray that God would use her through her ministry in Karai School and Children’s Home.
Child Sponsorship
- Give thanks for the Easter Food Share and Bible Club that was held at the end of March. There are now only 11 children without a sponsor; it would be amazing to see every child sponsored - pray for this!
Pray for the Fellowship of Christian Students’s (FCS) National Conference which will be streamed to over 140 centres. Pray for the 15,000 participants (kids, youth and adults) that they will be impacted by the gospel.
Pray for the Royal Ambassador School as the students are off on their Easter break. Pray for God’s protection over them and that all they have learnt will be put into practise by being witnesses to their family and communities.
Nixon Family - Continue to pray for Mark and Achele as they settle into married life. Give thanks for the time they were able to spend together on honeymoon in Nigeria.
Pray for Mark as he travels to the UK for four weeks to see his family, meet with the staff and board from MA and share about his work with key supporters. .
Mark and Achele will both be teaching new courses at Peter Achimugu College of Theology Summer School. Pray for wisdom and discernment when preparing these lessons.
Ekanem Family - Pray for Gail as she travels home in the middle of this month. Pray for Gail’s mum who is to have surgery for skin cancer on her leg. Pray for Godwin and Angel as they manage without Gail for a few months.
Pray for the new Chairman of Conference as he seeks to restore sound Biblical teaching in the Church, and to reignite a passion to reach lost souls for Christ.
Pray for the Chairman’s wife as she seeks to lead the ministers’ wives to better support their husbands in ministry, and to be all that God has called them to be.
Pray for the youth leader (Mr Douglas) as he and Godwin work together to organise a flm night on the Passion of the Christ for the youth on 20th in Ikot Ekpang Village. Pray that God will use this event to impact their lives.
Gaiya Family - Give thanks for the monthly ‘Dig Deeper’ programme that Pamela and Gracie have been attending; they’ve been learning about different tools with which to study the Bible. Pray for the last session on 11.4
Remember Musa as he attends the ECWA General Church Council, 2024 April, at the Church HQ, Jos. It’s a heavy week of church business. Pray for wisdom and strength. Pray for God to be honoured and glorifed.
IVORY COAST
Orientation of new ACTS (Africa Christian Text- books) staff members has been completed. Pray for a real sense of serving the Lord through literature ministry.
Praise God for funds already donated for Megavoice Audio Players so far. Pray for each individual who will recevie one, that through listening to Bible stories and the Gospel message, that their lives will be transformed.
Ana van Brakel - Continue to pray for Ana as she serves at the Bible College in the Ivory Coast. It is great to have two new sponsored students at the college from Burkina Faso allowing MA to continue to support the EPE church.
SCOTLAND
Pray for Robbie & Margaret as they continue to encourage supporters across Scotland. This month they were able to meet with the Glasgow prayer group - remember this group as they faithfully meet to pray for the work of MA.
The Toops have been invited back to the Isle of Lewis in May. Pray that God would be preparing Robbie’s heart for what He wants him to share. Pray also for the hearts of those who will attend the meetings; that God will be working in them.
GENERAL
Give thanks for the time that the Board of MA spent together in March during their stratedy day. Pray that God would be in the centre of all their plans and ideas. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that they need to make.
Pray that God would stir hearts with a deep, lasting passion for longterm mission. Pray that people would not be afraid to say ‘yes’ to the call of ‘go and make disciples of all nations.’
The audit of the last fnancial year will be taking place this month, pray for Paul & Ashleigh as they prepare for this. Pray that the audit itself will go smoothly and for a sense of peace throughout.
Pray for the team in the MA offce as they begin to think about the events and conferences throughout the summer months. Pray for creativity but also for discernment in they ways they raise awareness; ways that are God gloryfying.
‘Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.’ Ephesians 6:18
