A note from the founder I created minimalisma in 2011 with one simple intention: to create timeless clothing for children using only pure, natural qualities. No synthetics. No shortcuts. Just soft, sustainable essentials – made to be worn, loved, and passed on. I had worked with silk, wool and cashmere for over a decade before becoming a mother. I knew how to source them, how to knit them just right, how to make them last. But it was not until I wrapped my own child in these fibres that I truly felt their magic. Natural materials are not just beautiful – they are intelligent. They breathe, adjust, protect. They comfort. And they last. Signature Silk Seamless 70% Silk, 30% Cotton
A fundamental of our collections, the super-soft silk seamless line captures our minimalist style and timeless design, paying homage to one of the world’s finest natural fibres and the needs of the human body. Silk is insulating and breathable, with thermoregulating properties that help maintain an ideal temperature year-round. Though often associated with summer, silk is excellent for winter too – retaining around 80% of wool’s warmth. It can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp, keeping skin dry and comfortable. Naturally hypoallergenic and ideal for sensitive skin, silk’s antimicrobial properties – developed to protect the silkworm during pupation – offer healing and anti-inflammatory benefits. Our seamless styles are knitted on tubular machines for a perfect body-hugging fit with no irritating side seams. The result is breathable, flexible softness that moves with the body — like a second skin.
