ason Maas was only 19 when he got his start at The Burish Group as an intern. Studying finance at UW-Madison, he met Andy Burish, the founder and leader of the wealth management team, and quickly realized that he wanted to be a permanent part of the dynamic and burgeoning group. After graduation, he became a financial advisor with The Burish Group and has remained on the team ever since, rising through the ranks. “I was incredibly fortunate to be introduced to Andy while I was still in college,” says Maas. “Andy is a master businessman, a strategic thinker, and he has achieved the pinnacle of success in this extremely competitive financial industry. He’s done that with natural talent and a knack for looking at things differently. I’ve had the privilege to see him in action, and to learn extensively from him, and that is an education beyond compare.” Now, nearly 30 years later, Maas is The Burish Group’s Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Director – and he is preparing to lead the team in the future.
