The Black Violin Experience Tour showcases the two-time Grammy-nominated duo Black Violin, brought to life by Kev Marcus and Wil Baptiste, invoking a musical fusion of exquisite classical sounds and exhilarating hip-hop beats. This is a concert performance that boldly merges centuries of music and unites audiences with a message of hope and possibility. Audiences will be immersed in a sound that transcends categories and celebrates ingenuity and ambition, proving anything is possible.
Offenbach’s Songbird is a reduced version of French operetta La Périchole. The scene is 1920s New Orleans, where musicians Songbird and Piquillo have fallen on hard times and are desperate for a better life. A tale of true love, capers, villains and confusion. Despite a series of dizzying events, they prove love conquers all. Don’t bet against Songbird! Performance sung in English and French with English supertitles. Ninety minutes with no intermission!
A big-city actress lands back at her family’s Wisconsin dairy farm to grieve herself back to life. But can she ever make enough meatloaf to feel a sense of purpose again now that her most important person is gone? A look at loss and survival. Resilience and renewal. And Hallmark movies. Broadway’s Heidi Armbruster pens and performs a rip-roaringly hilarious and unbelievably touching one-woman journey of roller coasters, kittens and cows. Written by and starring Heidi Armbruster. Directed by Laura Gordon.
