About Us
Trinity Senior Services is the management company that oversees Milwaukee Catholic Home, Trinity Woods, Clare Gardens and The Catholic Ecology Center, Our Lady of the Angels Convent, and Queen of Peace Friary. Its impact is intergenerational, from the more than 800 older adults living in its communities, to its 600-plus employees, to the nearly 200 children who attend daycare programs located at Milwaukee Catholic Home and Trinity Woods. Trinity Senior Services launched in 2024 to advance our mission of empowering people to live an engaged life full of meaning and purpose.

Dear Friends and Partners,
As we look back on 2025, I am grateful for the meaningful progress we’ve made together across Trinity Senior Services. This year, we strengthened the resident experience, advanced operational excellence, and continued expanding mission-driven care across our campuses.
We invested in our people — welcoming new leaders, supporting retention, and growing clinical education partnerships that help shape the future of senior care. Nearly half of our workforce has been with us for two or more years, a reflection of the commitment and compassion that define our culture. Our services also grew in impact: more residents benefited from our rehabilitation, wellness, and navigation programs, and four campuses earned dementiaspecific designations through LeadingAge Wisconsin. Enhanced
transportation, increased volunteer engagement, and expanded opportunities for connection helped residents stay active, supported, and engaged in community life.
Our ministry partners and generous volunteers continue to inspire us — through advocacy efforts like the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and service initiatives supporting families throughout Milwaukee. Clare Gardens further nurtured education, sustainability, and access to fresh local food, reinforcing our shared care for creation.

2025 Year in Review
2025 has been a year of movement, meaningful progress, and strengthened community impact across Trinity Senior Services. As a management company advancing our commitment to the Senior Living industry and the residents we serve, we continued progress on our strategic goals in operational excellence, employee engagement, and mission-driven growth. Here are this year’s top highlights:
• Customer Experience: Rolled out real-time feedback tools to strengthen communication, respond promptly, and enhance the experience for residents and families.
• New Management Workspaces: Construction began on centralized management offices at Milwaukee Catholic Home and a new finance hub at Trinity Woods
— improving collaboration and efficiency across our organization.
• Strengthening Corporate Partnerships: Welcomed new partners who support our mission through sponsorship, education, and engagement across campuses.
• Expanded partnerships with organizations such as Caring Communities (professional liability insurance) and Baird (investment portfolio management), strengthening
support through expertise, education, and engagement.
• A Life Engaged™ Expands in New Ways: Rolled out our first community-wide fall colors excursion to La Crosse — a favorite memory that broadened accessible adventure and fellowship.

• Walk to End ALZ Rookie Team of the Year: This year, Trinity Senior Services proudly reengaged in the Milwaukee Walk to End Alzheimer’s, demonstrating our commitment to advocacy and support for those living with memory loss. With 40 participants walking alongside residents, families, and staff, our team was honored to be recognized as Rookie Team of the Year.
• Organizational Effectiveness: Invested in key technology platforms and the processes around them—Sage, Kronos, and volunteer management
tools—to improve decisionmaking, streamline services, and enhance support for our leadership to better serve residents, staff, and volunteers.
Milwaukee Catholic Home 2025 Year in Review
2025 brought leadership transition and a renewed focus on hospitality, welcome, and quality experience.
• Sales & Occupancy: Achieved all-time high occupancy across all areas of campus for the first time, with growing waitlists for Independent Living and Assisted Living.
• Therapy Services was brought in house starting on January 1 offering outpatient services to all levels of care.
• Award-Winning Care
Excellence: Our Health Care Center teams worked collaboratively to achieve an exceptional year — earning a CMS 5-Star Rating (one of only four communities within a 25mile radius), designation as a Dementia-Specific community by LeadingAge Wisconsin, and recognition as a U.S. News & World Report Best Long-Term Care and Best Short-Term Rehabilitation.
• Leadership Growth: Welcomed new administration across both the Residence and Health Care Center, continuing our commitment to strong and compassionate leadership and excellent customer experience.
• Customer Experience Enhancements: Began renovations of a new Welcome Center — creating an inviting entrance for guests, prospective residents, and families.
• Stronger Together: Collaboration across both campuses—including unified leadership and expanded opportunities for residents to participate in events beyond their specific residence—has strengthened program quality and enhanced the support we provide to those we serve.

Intergenerational community life continues to flourish — rooted in relationships, learning, and belonging.

• Therapy Services at Trinity Woods: This August, Trinity Senior Services officially expanded our Rehabilitation Services program to Trinity Woods, offering on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Residents can now access personalized care close to home, supporting strength, mobility, and independence. Since launching, our therapy
team has already helped many residents continue to live well and thrive in their community.
Our Lady of the Angels 2025 Year in Review
This year was filled with joyful traditions, meaningful outings, and community- building experiences.

• Monthly Happy Hours sponsored by community coordinators

Queen of Peace Friary

Review
Queen of Peace Friary is home to the retired Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe, offering a peaceful environment rooted in faith, fellowship, and daily rhythm.
• Community Snapshot
The Friary is currently home to 20 friars, with the potential to welcome an additional resident in early 2026.
• Leadership Continuity
Father John Dombrowski continues his role as Guardian, alongside Father Ralph Parthie as Vicar, providing steady spiritual
and community leadership.
• Community Life & Traditions Friars gathered regularly for game nights and shared meaningful seasonal traditions, including decorating together for Christmas, participating in a Secret Santa exchange, and celebrating with Christmas cookie decorating.
Through everyday moments of connection and faith, Queen of Peace Friary continues to embody a life of simplicity, presence, and shared purpose.
Clare Gardens
2025 Year in Review
Clare Gardens is a three-acre mixed vegetable farm founded by Trinity Senior Services in 2015 to provide fresh, nutritious food to our partner kitchens while caring for the land. Using regenerative and organic growing practices, the farm supports whole-person wellness by nourishing both body and spirit. In 2025, Clare Gardens demonstrated resilience, deepened mission impact, and strengthened community connection.
• Harvest & Production
• 18,407 pounds of produce harvested, matching 2024 totals despite early-season crop losses
• 52 weekly deliveries from midApril through early January
• 700 servings of vegetables prepared weekly in the Milwaukee Catholic Home kitchen
• 2.6 acres in production, growing 42 crops, including 18 tomato varieties
• Inaugural raspberry harvest yielded 204 pounds
• Resilience in a Challenging Season
Early crop failures and labor shortages created a demanding growing year. Through adaptability, strong farm culture, and the benefit of a long autumn harvest, the season finished on par with prior years—reflecting perseverance and dedication from a small but committed crew.
• Resident & Community Engagement
• 12 resident and partner tours featuring harvesting and shared meals (April–October, a first for Clare Gardens)
• 6 student and corporate volunteer workdays, bringing our “dirty-handed community” to life
• Seedling Sale engaged 200+ community members, strengthening local connection
• Meaningful moments of storytelling, memory, and shared purpose reinforced that food grown with dignity fosters belonging and combats isolation
• Sustainability & Stewardship
• 5,880 pounds of kitchen scraps diverted from waste streams into compost
• Continued focus on soil health, regenerative practices, and responsible resource use
As the 2025 season comes to a close, Clare Gardens enters winter grateful for a year that tested resilience and strengthened purpose. Looking ahead, we will continue to build a strong crew, expand volunteer and resident engagement, grow composting partnerships, and complete an improved pack shed—carrying forward the belief that food is never just food, but a source of connection, dignity, and healing.
Community Impact Report
Learning Institutions
Partnerships with Learning Institutions in Southeastern Wisconsin – 2025
In 2025, Trinity Senior Services continued to strengthen meaningful educational partnerships that support future healthcare professionals, expand community engagement, and enhance the mission-driven care we provide. Throughout the year, we welcomed clinical groups of up to eight students per rotation across nursing, LPN and CNA practicums, as well as wellness assessment projects and workforce development initiatives.
Our 2025 academic partners included:
• Alverno College - Nursing clinical rotations were held throughout 2025, providing valuable hands-on learning in resident-centered care.
• Herzing University - LPN clinicals continued yearround, supporting practical skills development and career readiness.
• Milwaukee Area Technical College - CNA clinicals were hosted for both dually enrolled high school students and adult learners, alongside nursing clinicals throughout the year, strengthening diverse pathways into the healthcare workforce.
• Mount Mary University - While nursing clinical placements were paused in 2025, we continued our strong partnership through multiple experiential learning opportunities at Trinity Woods. Occupational Therapy students visited weekly to lead craft and exercise programs and gain hands-on experience with older adults. Psychology students conducted resident interviews that led to meaningful connections, with several
choosing to return as volunteers. Art Therapy students explored creative engagement strategies, and Registered Dietitian students learned about Clare Gardens and senior nutrition while preparing a farm-to-table meal.
• University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee - Spring and fall nursing clinical rotations were held on our rehabilitation unit,
offering exposure to post-acute and therapeutic care.
• Joan Johnson - CNA clinical experiences were supported throughout 2025, building confidence and capability in caregiving skills.
• MSOE (Milwaukee School of Engineering) - In December, MSOE students will join us to complete well-elder assessments, supporting wellness and proactive health planning.
• Chamberlain UniversityNursing clinicals were hosted in fall 2025, enriching student preparation for professional practice.
Trinity Senior Services conducted a Health Care career introduction field trip for St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in 2025. St. Augustine students also assisted the A Life Engaged™ team at Milwaukee Catholic Home for special events.
Nurse Aide Training Program
• Cristo Rey Jesuit High School — Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) - A total of 12 students served across Milwaukee Catholic Home, Trinity Woods, and Our Lady of the Angels Convent in 2025. Cristo Rey’s innovative CWSP allows students to work one day each academic week, gaining professional experience and exposure to a wide range of career pathways while contributing directly to business and mission operations.
• Marquette University High School - In 2025, students served at Milwaukee Catholic Home as part of their annual “Senior Shared Life” project. This service immersion experience, which is the capstone of a student’s four years of study, allows a senior to serve for two weeks in the Greater Milwaukee community.
• St. Augustine Preparatory Academy - The Administrative and Human Resources teams at
• Milwaukee Public SchoolsWe welcomed a total of 20 MPS students throughout the year: seven in spring, seven in summer, and nine in fall (with some participating in multiple sessions). Through the Schoolto-Work Transition Program (STWTP), students gain social and vocational experiences that build independence, confidence, and practical skills for their future success.
Our Nurse Aide Training Program, first established in 2022, is letting people start their healthcare career now! This 85-hour course over five weeks includes 45 hours of online, self-paced learning and 40 hours of in-person skills lab and hands-on training. Scholarships which pay for the Nurse Aide Training Program are available to students who wish to work at one of our communities for a minimum of one year. Since June of 2022, we have had 213 students go through our Nurse Aide Training Program. Of those 213, 43 were already employees. 137 were new employees for TSS.
Eleven classes took place in 2025. Of the 73 students who graduated from the program, 12 of them were already Trinity Senior Services' employees, who took advantage of the free professional development offered to them, and another
47 students stayed and started working for one of the Trinity Senior Services managed locations.
In partnership with Clement Manor, 1 Nurse Aide Training class took place at Clement Manor, in order to assist them with their staffing needs.
A new partnership was just established with The Lutheran Home, to help them with their staffing needs. They plan to have 8 classes this year with our team assisting them. With 2025 being another successful year, we have nearly eliminated using outside agency staff.
Nurses Affecting Change
Thirteen years ago, Bonnie Anderson, a nurse at Milwaukee Catholic Home, helped create Nurses Affecting Change. The group travels throughout the greater Milwaukee area, providing free breast exams and education to women and the community.
Community members can request pop-up breast examination clinics at local sites. In 2024, Nurses Affecting Change hosted 98 Breast Cancer Awareness programs, educating
2,448 participants and performing 1,920 clinical breast exams. Of those examined, 780 participants were referred for mammography, 6 women were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, and 1 woman was diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer. Programs are held at apartment complexes, churches, schools, community centers, and annually at Milwaukee Catholic Home for staff and residents. Nurses Affecting Change continues to make a meaningful impact and save lives throughout our community.
Walk Me Home Program
The Walk Me Home Program is Trinity Senior Services’ end-oflife volunteer ministry, ensuring residents receive comfort and companionship in their final days. This year, 15 residents were supported by 7 dedicated volunteers, who offered presence, prayer, and reassurance when it was needed most. The program reflects our commitment to honoring
each person with dignity, care, and compassion at every stage of life.
Ladies of Charity Hat and Mitten Drive
In 2025, residents and staff continued their commitment to serving children in need through a Hat and Mitten Drive benefitting the Ladies of Charity. Generous donations of warm winter hats, gloves, and mittens helped support families throughout the Milwaukee community.
Holiday Food Boxes
This year, our community prepared 125 Holiday Food Boxes for Capuchin Community Services, ensuring families received everything needed for a festive holiday meal. The increase in participation reflects our residents’ growing dedication to helping neighbors in need.
Sunday Spirit Series 2025 –Fueled by Faith
Our 2025 Sunday Spirit Series offered quarterly opportunities for residents and guests to explore
diverse faith perspectives under the theme “Fueled by Faith.” Featured speakers included:
• Bart Adrian – Former local television meteorologist and university instructor
• Tonen O’Connor – Buddhist priest
• Rev. Paul Erickson – Bishop of the Greater Milwaukee Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
• Ahmed J. Quereshi – Executive Director, Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee
This series continued to foster dialogue, reflection, and interfaith understanding.
Advent Concert Series
The beloved Advent Concert Series returned in 2025, featuring musical performances on the first three Sundays of Advent in St. Anne Chapel. Residents, staff, and families enjoyed beautiful sacred music to prepare their hearts for the Christmas season.
Annual Fall Retreat
The 2025 Annual Retreat, titled
“Finding God in Our Later Years,” was led by Fr. Doug Leonhardt, SJ, and offered residents a meaningful, deeply reflective twoday spiritual experience.
Together, participants explored how aging can be a sacred season of rediscovery—a time when God’s presence becomes clearer through memory, gratitude, and surrender. Discussions focused on the unique challenges and blessings of later life, and how spiritual practices,
community, and personal reflection can bring renewed meaning, peace, and connection with the Divine.
Retreat programming included:
• A two-day retreat for residents of The Residence
• Two additional talks specially offered to residents in the Healthcare Center
The experience provided a gentle and uplifting space for spiritual renewal and connection.
Lenten Almsgiving
In 2025, our Lenten almsgiving efforts supported Catholic Relief Services, raising $1,500 and continuing Trinity Senior Services’ tradition of providing meaningful assistance to vulnerable communities worldwide.
Sandwich
Making for The Cathedral Center
Our service to those experiencing homelessness continued through our Sandwich Making Ministry, with residents preparing 200 sandwiches every other month for The Cathedral Center. This handson outreach remains a cherished and impactful program that brings residents together in service.
