The Salvation Army provides Christmas Day dinner in Milwaukee

On Sunday, December 25, 2022, The Salvation Army along with the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation presented "The 33rd Annual Christmas Family Feast" at the Wisconsin Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. Hundreds of volunteers helped prepare and serve a homestyle dinner for thousands of people in need. Everyone that attended received a sit-down meal with turkey, ham, yams, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green beans, and dessert. The event also featured Santa, free haircuts, and a children’s book signing. This year for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 out-
break, the meal was dine-in. Christmas Family Feast was sponsored by the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation, All Saints Cathedral, Bombas, the Brewers’ Community Foundation, Cedar Crest Ice Cream, Hunger Task Force, Levy, the Milwaukee County Transit System, Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, Roundy’s, Sysco, the Village of Hartland, the We Energies Foundation, the Wisconsin Veterans Foundation, and the Wisconsin Center.
Gee's MKE Clinic hosts annual 'Holiday Toy and Food Drive' On Saturday, December 17, 2022, Gee's MKE Wellness Clinic hosted their annual "Gee's Holiday Food and Toy Drive," which was a huge success. Gee's along with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wisconsin were able to provide toys, food, and resources to more than 200 families. The event was sponsored by Gee’s MKE Wellness Clinic, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of WI, and Our Daily Bread and was held at Gee's Clippers, 2200 N. Dr. M.L.K., Jr Dr . Turnout was outstanding, with community members from throughout Milwaukee neighborhoods attending.

Northcott Neighborhood House hosts "Tis the Season Christmas Dinner and Toy Giveaway"

On Sunday, December 25, 2022, Northcott Neighborhood House along with Bader Philanthropies, Francie Luke Silverman Foundation, United Methodist Churches, United Methodist Women, Church Women United, and WestCare Wisconsin hosted the "Tis the Season Christmas Dinner and Toy Giveaway," at Northcott Neighborhood House, 2460 N. 6th Street. On Christmas morning there were 1,000 dinners for families of four, hence 4,000 family meals and two hundred individual dinners for single people. The An HTGroup, LLC Publication
dinners were provided by Daddy's Soul Food & Grille, 754 N. 27th St. Along with the meals there were more than 5,000 toys for girls and boys which were provided by various donors and friends of Northcott. Northcott Neighborhood House Executive Director Tony A. Kearney, Sr., said "We do not want any child not to have a toy for Christmas.
