Northwest Funeral Chapel hosts '2022 Back-to-School Supply Giveaway'

On August 20, 2022, Northwest Funeral Chapel along with Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. - Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter hosted their "2022 Back-to-School Supply Giveaway," at Northwest's Family Activity Center, 4034 W. Good Hope Rd. The event included free book bags and supplies for children grades 1st-8th, free hair cuts, food by Pop's BBQ, free information, and live music by DJ Special K. Community partners for this event include Covering Wisconsin, Faith & Hope Ministries, Black Excellence Foundation, Great Impressions Graphics & Printing, Kerrent Events, Milwaukee Community Journal, Milwaukee Fire Department, Milwaukee Health Services, Inc., Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Public Schools, Pop's BBQ, Northcott Neighborhood Services, Shawn's Serenity Services, and Walgreen's Pharmacies.
Mt. Carmel hosts '2022 Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway'
On Saturday, August 27, 2022, organizations and churches from all around the city of Milwaukee participated in Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church and ODUA Association in Milwaukee's "Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway." This event provided one free back pack and school supplies to start the school year.
