## NEWS ## NEWS ## NEWS ## ENERGY OF LIGHT DISCO Our Energy of Light Disco will return on Friday 30 September @ 8.30pm in the Studio Theatre, start practicing your dance moves. It didn't seem fair that only the big kids were having all the fun, so we are delighted to announce that from Saturday 24 September we will be starting Energy of Light Kids (0-8 years) and Energy of Light Juniors (0-14 years).
We are keen to get our Access Newsletter out to as many people as possible. If you would like to be sent the Newsletter by email please forward your email address to lisal@millenniumforum.co.uk and you will be in with a chance to win a Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children) for Cinderella on Saturday 10 December@ 2pm our Relaxed & Dementia Friendly Performance
Spread the word to your All our Energy of Light Discos will have DJ Oliver on the family and friends as well decks with DJ Silver Fox at the Kids & Juniors disco. Our discos are aimed at those experiencing limited physical, sensory and or learning disability. Tickets are £3 with Carers & Parents going free complimentary tea/coffee provided.
MOVES & MELODIES Thursday 18 August 2pm - 3.30pm Moves & Melodies is an age friendly project for adults which involves song & dance workshops. It is open to all and is also dementia friendly. This project will be provided complimentary and is held once a month in our Studio Theatre. The music facilitator is Fiona Logue and the dance facilitators are Emma Lindsay from Emma Lindsay Dance and Claire Harkin. There will be an opportunity to learn new dance skills and sing a range of song styles every month.
We are delighted to announce that we will for the first time have a Captioned performance of our panto. This takes place on Sunday 18 December @ 2pm.

ENERGY TRAIN
DEMENTIA FRIENDLY TEA DANCE We have now started our 2nd course of our Energy Train, we are delighted to welcome new participants and have some from our 1st course taking their skills further.
Our next Dementia Friendly Tea Dance will take place in the Studio Theatre on Thursday 25 August @ 2pm - 3.30pm - SOLD OUT
Each of the participants will also have a slot at our monthly Energy of Light Disco.

Our 1st Tea Dance on Tour took place on Thursday 28 July in Derg Valley Care Centre and a brilliant time was had by everyone. We hope to be back again soon - watch this space!!
