IRYNA MATEICHUK: “WHEN A PERSON COMES INTO THE STORE, I ALREADY UNDERSTAND

WHAT I CAN OFFER THEM AND HOW I CAN HELP”

— Mrs. Iryna, share your secrets with our readers: how do you manage to combine all areas of life and always stay on top?

— I am very inspired and sometimes even distracted from my routine by the fact that I have recently immersed myself in the study of mythology. I also pay a lot of attention to the psychoanalysis of Carl Jung. This is my kind of outlet — from business, economics, the material world. Especially now, when rent has increased significantly, the euro and dollar exchange rate have risen — all this is pressing.

Sometimes you need to move away from the material and fill yourself with positive emotions that charge you and keep you from falling.

— What methods do you use to maintain emotional and physical harmony in your daily life?

— Meditation helps me a lot. There are also moments that ground me and relieve stress. For example, I love reading. And when I feel disconnected from my inner centre, I go to pottery.

I need to make something with my hands – a pot, a vase... I completely immerse myself in the process, get distracted, and feel how the earth supports me energetically. It takes away fatigue and gives me new strength.

Another powerful resource is walking on coals; I practice it once a month. For me, it is not just a test – it is purification. It is an internal ritual that helps to throw off everything unnecessary, set new goals, and form an intention for the next month. This is also part of my meditations and prayers.

I pray every evening and every morning. Prayer and meditation are like a shield, like healing for me.

— How do you cope with stressful situations? What strategies do you use?

— We are all going through a difficult period now. Every Ukrainian today lives in a state of constant tension. We live the day as a gift, and at night, when the sun sets, we don’t always know whether we will wake up in silence again.

But it is the love of life that keeps us going, the love for everything that the Universe gives us. It is what inspires us to move forward, not to give up, to dream, to create, to find new ideas, to share inspiration.

And, perhaps, the most important thing is the internal resource. When you wake up in the morning and you want to wear something nice, to set yourself up for a good day, to meditate, you are already in the resource – because you go to work not just as a professional, but as a source of energy. Especially now, when the economy is unstable, prices are rising; people really need that energy that inspires. I believe that it is we, creative people, who should be

Iryna MATEICHUK — stylist and owner of a clothing brand

the ones who give this spark of light.

— Give some advice to women: what should they do to love themselves, maintain selfconfidence, and stay motivated to achieve their goals?

— I sincerely wish women to find at least a little time for themselves – as for a woman. To allow themselves those moments that heal our feminine energy. It can be a walk in nature, walking barefoot, and contact with the earth – a real connection with Mother Nature. These are exactly the energies that we, women, have to maintain in balance throughout the month.

Especially at its end, when we feel tired, emotionally exhausted, we become a little “worn out”. I highly recommend finding time for massages, relaxation practices, and body care. And also – sports or dancing, if you don’t feel like doing physical exercises in the classical sense.

Now there are so many wonderful opportunities for a woman to feel like a

woman. And it doesn’t always require big money. You can often start small. I want to emphasise: self-discipline is sometimes more important than financial resources. The ability to manage your time, planning, regularity is already a sign of inner prosperity.

For example, I had problems with my diaphragm after the accident, but I still prove (sorry for being emotional) that I can keep myself in good shape.

— What are your plans for the near future? What would you like to achieve, but haven’t been able to?

— A very interesting thing: while working with people, I came to the conclusion that people don’t buy things — they buy energy. The energy they lack. And buying is like an energy boost. A person intuitively chooses what fills their inner emptiness or gives inspiration. It’s so fascinating!

For two years now I have been observing this process, recording my thoughts, working on a book where I describe the wave on which

ARIN.

people usually make purchases. Now, together with my teacher from Thailand, we are still improving the structure, but I think that when we finish it, it will be interesting and valuable material, especially for people who work in the field of trade. I love my job very much. I really like working – even as a saleswoman. I like serving customers, watching them. When a person comes into the store, I already feel what I can offer them and how I can help.

If a person is on my wavelength, I immediately feel it, like a scanner. And then I can create an image for them that inspires. And it is not at all necessary to have expensive brands – they will look like a million bucks, because it is all about energy, about love for people. This is my greatest inspiration: to help a person shine, to fill them with light. My ARIN brand was created specifically for women who glow from the inside. We charge them with beauty, confidence, and ease.

All our clients are happy, beautiful women, real stars in our clothes.

SVETLANA DOLGHIER:

“PHOTOGRAPHS ARE NOT JUST IMAGES,

BUT A VALUABLE TREASURE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO LEAVE A PIECE OF YOURSELF FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS AND PRESERVE THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENTS OF LIFE”

Svetlana DOLGHIER is an international photographer whose works cross cultural boundaries and captivate the hearts of viewers around the world. She has become a true legend of modern photography. Her talent is evident in every frame, bringing to reality what many only imagine. Step by step, skilfully working with light, composition and colour, Svetlana creates masterpieces that amaze even the most demanding critics. An interview with this outstanding artist is a journey into the fascinating world of art, which leaves an unforgettable impression on everyone who gets acquainted with her works.

— What role do you think photography plays in the modern world in the context of capturing moments?

— Photography is extremely important in our time, as it is one of the most effective means of capturing, preserving and transmitting moments, emotions and meanings.

Photographs help preserve the memory of important events, personal moments and historical milestones. They become visual witnesses of the past, allowing future generations to better understand the context and feel the atmosphere of those times.

In the modern world, photography is also a powerful tool of communication. It is able to convey ideas, mood and history without words – sometimes much deeper than any text.

Photography opens up the opportunity for us to see the world in a special way and share this vision with others.

— Can photography influence society’s perception of events taking place in different countries?

— Yes, photography has a powerful impact on public consciousness in the context of events in different countries.

Images can convey emotional and historical context much deeper than words. They allow people to see real faces, real situations and the scale of events, which contributes to deeper understanding and empathy.

Impressive shots can draw the attention of the international community to problems that were previously ignored or left out of attention. As photos are actively distributed in the media and social networks, they influence the formation or change of perceptions of specific events, countries or phenomena. Often they become symbols of struggle, peace, crisis or injustice.

— What personal impressions did you get while photographing important events such as Independence Day and the Ukrainian Festival?

— Photographing such events is a great opportunity to capture vivid moments: solemn speeches, patriotic symbols, people’s emotions. Such shots convey an atmosphere of unity, pride and national exaltation.

In addition, during such events, extraordinary cultural diversity is revealed - traditions, costumes, folk art. This is not only inspiring, but also causes deep respect for the richness of Ukrainian culture.

Visual stories also have the power to motivate people to action - in particular, to charity, volunteering or information support. Images make the call for help more convincing.

— Do you have any favourite places for photo shoots? Why those?

— I especially like photographing families in nature. It creates an atmosphere of comfort, sincerity and spiritual harmony. Nature adds warmth and naturalness to the pictures, helps to convey real emotions and a deep connection between people.

It is a great way to capture moments of love, happiness and peace against the backdrop of the beauty of nature.

— In your opinion, why is it important to preserve moments of life through photography

— childhood, graduation, baptism, and other events?

— Preserving moments of life through photographs is extremely important. They become a kind of personal history that you can return to at any time.

Photographs convey family traditions, values, culture – and become an integral part of the heritage for future generations. They help preserve identity, memory and connection with ancestors.

Viewing family photos evokes warm memories, nostalgia, and pride in the past. In difficult moments, it is a real source of inspiration.

Photographs form a family album, which turns into a valuable legacy for children and grandchildren. It is a bridge between generations that strengthens family ties. So, photographs are not just frames. They are a valuable treasure –emotions, memory and a piece of the soul, which allows you to preserve the most important moments of life and pass them on to future generations.

NATALIIA YATSEIKO (MOMOT):

A WOMAN WHO CARRIES THE CROWN WITH DIGNITY AND TRANSFORMS IT INTO AN INSTRUMENT OF GOOD

Hataliia YATSEIKO (MOMOT) – Queen of MS. TCP EUROPE Platinum Pageant 2025, who bestows the world with «The Grandeur of Goodness»

– Ms. Natalia, we are pleased to welcome you to the pages of our magazine. You had the honour of participating in the international beauty competition TCP EUROPE Pageants 2025. Could you please tell us more about this event?

– This year, my life gained a new, profound meaning. I had the honour of representing Ukraine at the prestigious international beauty competition TCP EUROPE Pageants 2025, which took place in the picturesque Bulgarian city of Varna.

This was not just a trip; it was an inner transformation. I saw the stage, the lights, and the audience – and at the same time, it was a silence in my heart when I realised that the crown is not just about a title, but about responsibility. It was there, in Bulgaria that I felt: my calling is to bring light and serve goodness. Each participant had her own story. But for me, the most important thing was to become the voice of those who are often not heard: children with disabilities, families who need support, people who are waiting for a space of love. And this victory became a symbol: beauty has the power to change reality.

– Please tell our readers more about your project «The Grandeur of Goodness».

– Immediately upon returning to Ukraine, I began to implement what had long lived in my soul. That’s how the charitable project «The Grandeur of Goodness» was born – an initiative aimed at creating a creative space for children with disabilities. This is not just an idea, but a great dream in which every child, regardless of their physical abilities, has the right to inspiration, development, creativity, and joy. My team and I organized a large charity evening, which took place in an atmosphere of love, unity, and genuine care. It was not just an event; it was an event of the heart. Exquisite buffet, art lots, sincere speeches, warm hugs, light in the eyes of the guests – all of this became the embodiment of the main idea: goodness has grandeur.

– Who was involved in organising the charity event «The Grandeur of Goodness»?

– I was supported by an incredible team of likeminded people. We thought through every detail with soul, and chose every partner with heart. We worked day and night to ensure everything went at the highest level. And we succeeded – we not only realised an idea, we set a benchmark for future events.

– Who among the guests was present at the «Grandeur of Goodness’ evening»?

– I am immensely grateful to everyone who joined in:

• entrepreneurs – for their generosity and willingness to support,

• business owners – for their partnership and noble deeds,

• artists and creative personalities – for the heartfelt lots that touched hearts,

• the community – for their trust, presence, and support at every stage.

– You have not just made a contribution, but have become part of a great cause of good changes. What goals do you set for yourself next?»

– I dream of creating even more projects that will serve good. I plan to organise women’s retreats in the Carpathians – spaces where women can restore themselves, find new strength, and undergo inner transformations. I also strive to expand the areas of support for children with special needs: from creative platforms to educational programs and psychological support.

I believe that goodness is a wave that never stops. And I gladly walk this path.

– What advice would you give to other women who want to change the world but hesitate?»

– Start with some small: with a smile, with gratitude, with a kind word or deed. Your strength is in your feminine heart. When you start listen to it, the world changes. And remember: beauty is not just outward appearance. True beauty is in actions, in kindness, in care.

I am convinced: everything great begins with something small. And if everyone takes their step, the world will definitely become better.

In addition to medical practice, she is actively developing in the field of modelling, participating in fashion events and beauty contests. IS AN EXAMPLE OF A MODERN WOMAN WHO SKILFULLY COMBINES CAREER, MOTHERHOOD, AND LOVE OF LIFE

— Iryna, it is a great pleasure to talk to you on the pages of our magazine. Please tell us how you manage to combine a successful career as a doctor, motherhood and active participation in the modelling industry.

— Good afternoon! Thank you for the invitation. I have always believed that impossible is just a word. If you sincerely want something, everything is possible. I am lucky to have the support of my family and colleagues who believe in me and support me in all my endeavours.

My profession as a dentist is very important to me, because I help people feel confident, giving them

beautiful smiles. But I am also convinced that life is not just work. If you have inner balance and desire, you can always find time for what inspires you.

My sons are my greatest happiness. But at the same time, I do not forget about myself as a woman. It is important for me to develop in the modelling field, play sports, and learn new things. I strive to be an example for my children of a modern, independent woman who is not afraid of challenges and confidently moves forward.

— Interesting! Please tell us what impressions you leave from fashion events and beauty contests.

— Participation in such events is always an extremely bright and exciting experience. I discover new opportunities for myself, meet interesting people, and most importantly, I have the opportunity to express myself through fashion. This is another way to convey my individuality, emphasise inner beauty.

I am convinced that every woman deserves to feel beautiful, desirable and confident. For me, beauty contests are about self-love, selfacceptance and feminine strength. When a woman feels harmony inside, it is reflected in everything, even in her gaze, because it is important not only externally, but also in her heart to feel truly the most beautiful in this world.

SNIZHANA LIASHKO:

“THE WAR DID NOT ERASE THE NEED FOR CARE, FOR DIGNIFIED SERVICE, FOR SUPPORT”
Snizhana

LIASHKO is the owner and director of Grand Cosmetics LLC.

— What was your motivation for not stopping your business during the war and what challenges did you face?

— My main motivation is people. The Grand Cosmetics team, who invested themselves in the business every day, customers for whom our products have become part of their self-care, and partners with whom we have been working for many years. The war did not erase the need for care, for decent service, for support. We could not just “disappear”. The challenges were largescale – logistics, supplies, a drop in purchasing power, and anxiety within the team. But we quickly realised that flexibility and humanity were the keys to survival.

— What strategies did you use to preserve and develop your business during the war?

— My strategy is calm, endurance and belief that we are strong and we should not stop. We did not fuss, did not make chaotic decisions. We focused on the main thing: supporting the team, staying close to the client and maintaining quality. Some processes have changed, something had to be simplified, but the meaning remained – to be a support where we can.

— What has been the biggest source of inspiration and support in these difficult times?

— I am inspired by people – by the resilience of my colleagues who came to work under fire, by the sincere words of my clients, by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Personally, I am supported by my family, children, friends, casual good conversations, theatre and travel –even short trips with girls to just breathe deeper.

— How do you maintain psychological resilience and emotional balance while doing business in conditions of conflict?

— Conversations give me resilience - with my family, with my team, with people who care. Work also heals: when you have work to do, when you can be useful, you gain internal support. Helping the guys from the Armed Forces is another way to keep going. When you know why you live and work, you find balance – even in a storm.

— What advice would you give to other women who are also striving to keep their businesses alive during the war?

— Be on the move. Don’t wait for ideal conditions, because they won’t be there. Surround yourself with those who share your values. Don’t be afraid to change your business model; don’t stay silent when things are difficult. And remember: women’s strength lies in flexibility, empathy, and the ability to create life even in the midst of ruin.

Yana MIERKOVA is a master of exquisite desserts, whose culinary creativity amazes and fascinates. Her skill turns each dessert into a work of art, filled with love for confectionery and a desire to bring joy to everyone who allows themselves a sweet treat.

— What inspired you to turn to the confectionery business as a way to cope with the loss of a loved one and occupy your time?

— I was on maternity leave and looking for a new direction for myself. Once on Instagram I saw a video with amazing desserts made from regular chocolate – and I really wanted to try it. My husband supported my desire; I bought courses, equipment, ingredients... But literally two days later the war began.

My studies were put on hold. And after a month and a half, my husband died while performing a combat mission. It took me some time to come to my senses. And again on social networks I saw a bento cake. That’s how my path in confectionery began. At first I cooked only for myself and my loved ones, and it became my way of filling the inner emptiness after the loss.

— Can you share the moment when you realised that your hobby had the potential to become a brand and a business?

YANA MIERKOVA:

«IF IT WEREN’T FOR MY LOVED

ONES,

M.Y.CAKE MAY NOT HAVE APPEARED»

— It probably happened when friends and family started insisting that I start making money from it. My sister became my first client. I still remember how gorgeous that cheesecake turned out, how delicious it was, according to the reviews, and how proud I was of myself that I had managed to do it.

— How has the support of your loved ones influenced the development of your brand?

— As I said, if it weren’t for my family, M.Y.Cake might not have come into being. They helped with everything from moral support to spreading information through word of mouth and social media, which gave a strong impetus to development. Thanks to them, I was able to study and attend master classes while my family spent time with my son.

— What challenges did you face in creating your own approach on cakes made from simple ingredients? How did you overcome them?

— The most difficult thing is to create edible, tasty decorations. Many decorative materials in confectionery are beautiful on the outside, but not tasty at all. I strive to make decorations that you want to eat. And I also look for other serving options: for example, 3D cakes in the shape of animals, cupcakes in the form of flower bouquets or today’s trend – a cake on a canvas.

— How do you see your legacy in the world of confectionery art?

— I hope to leave my legacy in the form of a different vision – so that the word «cake» is not associated only with the classic round white dessert with butter flowers. And so that each person immediately has a fantasy of what their personal cake should look like.

ALLIANA YELIESINA:

«IN CANADA I FINALLY ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE MYSELF –

A MODEL, A CREATOR, A PSYCHOLOGIST»

Alliana YELIESINA – State Inspector-Expert, Major of the Customs Service of Ukraine (retired). Has over 17 years of experience in the public sector. Psychologist-consultant in a multimodal approach. Educated in Poland and has an international certificate. Author and founder of the creative art space «Alliana» – a cultural and social project aimed at supporting the artistic community and women’s entrepreneurship. Initiator of the creation of a modern space in Ottawa (Canada), combining coffee culture, style, art and psychological aesthetics.

— How were you, as a woman, able to find the inner strength and motivation to change your life and your environment?

— Life has forced me to start from scratch twice – first in Poland, then in Canada. But it is in these moments, when the external seems to disappear, that true inner strength is revealed. I remembered myself as a little girl who dreamed of being a model, an artist, free. And I decided not to betray her anymore. My motivation was the desire to live not only “correctly”, but also truly — with beauty, meaning and freedom.

— What were the biggest challenges that came in your way, and how did you overcome them?

— The first challenge was internal –to leave a career, title, status and recognition in the past, to allow myself to be a “beginner” in a new country. The second was financial – to work at night to build a dream during the day. The third was the language and cultural barrier. But I opened up to the world like a child: with respect, a smile and a desire to learn. And the world reciprocated.

— How did migration and changing environments affect the development of your talents and abilities?

— What values and beliefs helped you maintain your identity and integrity in your new life?

— Freedom, dignity, creativity — these words have become my inner compass. I remain true to myself, even when I have to adapt. And also — the belief that beauty has the power to heal, inspire, unite. It is this beauty that I try to carry in every project.

— Migration is a shock, but also an opportunity. In Canada, I finally allowed myself to be myself — a model, a creator, a psychologist. Here, I turned versatility into strength. In a new environment, my ideas – about art space, stylish psychology, and female leadership –found a new sound and a new audience.

— How did your Ukrainian roots help you transform and adapt to a new society in Canada?

— Ukrainian roots are my strength and tenderness at the same time. I am learning to be resilient, like our women, and compassionate, like the Ukrainian soul. Here, in Canada, I see how Ukrainians bring light, work, and beauty even in the most difficult conditions. It inspires. My transformation is a continuation of the history of a new Ukraine that knows how to be strong without losing its femininity.

— In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. Everything begins with words: faith, hope, love. Everything that lives in our souls is transmitted through language.

Since childhood, I have felt the power of words and how they help to express oneself and establish oneself as a person. First of all, my books and poems are a way to convey my emotional state through the prism of the modern world.

— How does yoga influence your work and what practices support the creative process?

VIKTORIIA SERDIUK (LANIAKEIA):

“MY BOOKS AND POEMS ARE A WAY FOR ME TO EXPRESS AN EMOTIONAL STATE THROUGH THE PRISM OF TODAY”

Viktoriia SERDIUK (LANIAKEA) is a Ukrainian poet, winner of international competitions, contributor to literary anthologies and magazines, yoga trainer and nail therapist.

— Yoga taught me to be in the moment “here and now”, to feel the balance between body and spirit. My day begins with Surya Namaskar, and from the first movements the body seems to sing, and my thoughts line up in harmonious poetry.

Breathing practices, asanas, meditations are not just ways to support the psycho-emotional and physical state; they are my lifestyle aimed at inner growth.

— How do you combine nail therapy with writing and what benefits does it give you?

— Nail therapy activates acupuncture points, helps to feel the flow of energy and the influx of strength. Overcoming pain with nails is like a metaphor for overcoming life’s difficulties.

At this moment, unexpected, motivational poems come to mind, filled with faith in a harmonious future.

— What mantras or words help you find inner strength in difficult moments and unleash your creative potential?

— The combination of sound, rhythm and vibration in mantras creates a harmonious flow of thoughts. My favourites: “Om Mani

Padme Hum”, “Asatoma”, “Gayatri Mantra”, “Om Kurkurle Chris Va Ha”, “Adi Shakti” – and many more. For me, this is a real sound healing, which helps me tune in to light, life-affirming vibrations.

— What advice can you give to those seeking harmony through creativity, yoga or nail therapy?

— In the world of innovative technologies, we are gradually losing something very important – ordinary human qualities. This is noticeable both at the family level and on a global scale.

We think that we have reached the pinnacle of development, but at the same time we forget simple truths: good begets good, peace is more valuable than war, and human life is the highest value.

In my poems, I try to preserve these thoughts for future generations. Through poetry, I urge you not to give up, to go forward, to learn to listen to yourself and the world, to open your inner space through something that resonates with you - yoga, nail therapy or any other practice.

I advise you to feel your oneness with the Universe and remember that each of us has a mission to make the world a kinder and brighter place.

OLHA UHNIVENKO:

«FOR ME, THE MAIN THING IS TO HAVE JOY AND APPINESS IN CREATING, FOR WHICH I AM INFINITELY GRATEFUL TO FATE»

Olha UHNIVENKO is a singer, writer, composer, artist, Honoured Entertainment Artist of Ukraine, People’s Master of Folk Art of Ukraine, record holder, and winner of the National Treasure of the Nation 2022 Award.

— What inspires your unique approach to creativity? How do you combine different elements in your works?

— I am inspired by the beauty of nature, world artistic masterpieces, and the colourful Ukrainian cultural heritage of our talented people, both ancient and modern.

— Can you tell us about a specific work in which your syncretic style was most fully manifested? What was the source of your inspiration?

— My syncretic style was fully manifested in the puppet theatre, which I created at the National Museum of Literature

of Ukraine with the full support of the museum’s general director, Halyna Soroka.

In the theatre, I act as a scriptwriter, director, poet and composer, designer of theatrical screen drawings and auxiliary structures, artist, master of scenery and production of theatrical puppets, actress of movement and voice acting of characters.

All this large-scale creative work became possible only because God generously endowed me with the various talents of my family.

— How do you think your multicultural background has influenced your artistic perspective and the themes you explore in your art?

— My versatile talents inspire me to create new ideas that require a deep immersion in a specific field. For example, before creating the “Wedding” doll collection, which was included in the National Register of Records of Ukraine, I studied in detail the traditional Ukrainian clothes of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

This work also resulted in the publication of the book “Spiritual Treasure of the Ukrainian People”, a joint effort with my mother, Tamara Uhnivenko, which won first place in the “My Country” nomination at the All-Ukrainian “Best Book of Ukraine” competition in 2012.

— How do you see the development of the concept of syncretism in contemporary art? What is your place in this landscape?

— The development of syncretism in contemporary art is closely connected, first of all, with the support of gifted people – especially those with multifaceted abilities. Such a person sees the world not linearly, but in a three-dimensional way – deeper and more complete.

At the state level, support for families should be provided, in particular, by enabling children to develop their talents in various artistic fields from an early age. We are talking about financial subsidies, because not every family is able to pay for all of their child’s hobbies on their own. The state should cover part of the costs.

My place in art will be determined by people. For me, the main thing is to have the joy and happiness to create. For this, I am sincerely grateful to fate.

OLHA YEVTIEIEVA:

“LEARNING TO UNDERSTAND YOUR BODY LANGUAGE IS NOT ONLY ABOUT HEALTH, BUT ALSO ABOUT DEEPER SELF-KNOWLEDGE”

Olha Yevtieieva is a psychologist, multimodal psychotherapist, and specialist in psychosomatics.

— How do you understand the relationship between a person’s mental and physical state in the context of body language?

— Our organism is made up of a physical body that is controlled by the brain.

The brain perceives incoming information depending on the mental processes of each individual.

Each part of the body is controlled by the corresponding part of the brain.

The psyche helps the brain to feel the outside world. Information is perceived through the senses: touch, sight, smell, hearing, taste.

The psyche feels – the mind analyses the situation – the brain gives a command – the body definitely executes everything!

Changes in the organs occur depending on the conditions in which a person is, how he or she perceives the event, what emotions he or she feels.

— What specific physical symptoms can indicate a particular emotional state and how can this affect your overall well-being?

— Emotions not only affect the body – they show up through the body when we don’t consciously pay attention to them.

Here are examples of specific physical symptoms that can indicate certain emotional states:

-Anger, rage, irritation lead to: tension in the jaw, neck and muscles, headaches, high blood pressure, abdominal cramps, and digestive system diseases.

- Excessive care for the family, child, home, and partner causes breast diseases and manifests itself through fibroadenomas, cysts, tumours, including malignant ones.

-Unpleasant contacts lead to skin diseases: dermatitis, acne, seborrhoea, psoriasis, tinea, and erythema.

-Unwillingness or inability to see someone or something in one’s life, disappointment in what one sees causes eye diseases: astigmatism, myopia, hyperopia, cataracts, and conjunctivitis.

-The feeling and need for constant struggle, aversion to circumstances affects the state of the pancreas and manifests itself in the form of pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus.

-A state of deficit and lack of resources lead to liver dysfunction.

- A sense of threat in the area where a person is located leads to diseases such as laryngitis and bronchitis.

-Feeling cold in relationships, lack of warmth and positive emotions, the need to distance or defend oneself in relationships, a heavy burden on a person manifested by excess weight.

-Feeling of uselessness, abandonment, refugee status is manifested by kidney disease and lymphatic system disorders, edema.

-Devaluation of oneself affects the condition of bones, manifested by joint diseases.

-Worry about the loss of a loved one or animal affects the functioning of the human reproductive system.

— What could be behind the deterioration of health on the back of negative emotions and stress, and how is it related to body language?

— Deterioration of health on the background of negative emotions and stress is a deeply bodily and mental process that is directly related to body language.

What can be behind this:

-Stress activates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, which leads to an increase in the level of cortisol, the stress hormone.

Chronic stress leads to constant tension that activates the sympathetic nervous system (“fight or flight”), which leads to: high blood pressure, vasoconstriction, sleep problems, gastrointestinal disorders, decreased immunity, anxiety, panic attacks, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal imbalance.

- Suppression of negative emotions leads to their remaining in the body in the form of: tension (spasms in the neck, shoulders, and abdomen), pain (migraine, back pain), and diseases (psychosomatics: gastritis, asthma, dermatitis, sinusitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, allergies).

— How can you identify and recognise symptoms in your own body that indicate emotional imbalance?

— Our body is constantly sending signals, but we often ignore them or tend to suppress them.

Signs of imbalance in the body:

-Unexpected or chronic pain: headaches, cramps, muscle tension; back, neck, jaw pain (especially during stress or conflict); frequent exacerbation of old illnesses after emotional events.

-Sleep disorders: difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking up, feeling tired immediately after waking up, disturbing dreams.

-Digestive system - a sensitive barometer of emotions, bloating, cramps, heaviness, loss of appetite or overeating; nausea when worried, gastritis.

-Tension in the body – constantly tense shoulders, abdomen, neck, clenched fists, jaw, teeth grinding in sleep.

-Changes in breathing: shallow breathing, inability to take a “full” breath, sighing as a frequent habit.

-General fatigue, lack of energy, loss of interest in life.

— What practical approaches or strategies can be used to change and improve health by balancing mental and physical well-being?

— Improving health by balancing the mental and physical state is a process of restoring the connection between the body, emotions and consciousness.

— How to heal the body by working with emotions?

— Gaining knowledge about how the psyche, brain and body are interconnected.

Learn to recognise, monitor, express, and experience emotions. Recognised emotions do not accumulate in the body as symptoms.

Breathing practices –diaphragmatic breathing reduces cortisol levels.

Body-oriented therapy – helps to “unlock” frozen emotions through work with the body.

Psychotherapy, art therapy – provides an opportunity to talk through and respond to repressed emotions.

Work with thinking - observation of the internal dialogue, limiting beliefs, thoughts that arise more often. Thoughts create emotions, and emotions create physiological reactions.

Movement (dance, yoga, pilates) frees the body, improves blood circulation and emotional state.

Contact with nature is the strongest calming agent.

The body is always on the side of the truth and for the person. It tells you what the mind is trying to hide. Learning to understand your body language is not only about health, but also about getting to know yourself better.

ALLA BUNIS: “IN MY PRACTICE, I USE

SELF-REGULATION THROUGH COLOUR AND THE TOY THERAPY ROOM”

lla BUNIS is a master of psychology, art therapist, speaker at international and Ukrainian festivals, founder of the art space “You can do anything”, coffee drawing expert, co-author of 13 books on psychology, practical psychologist at the City Cultural and Sports Centre of the Zhytomyr City Council, and head of the Toy Therapy Room. She is also the organiser of the author’s art therapy festival “Art Therapy as a Tool for Healing and Development”.

— How does self-regulation help during the war in difficult life circumstances?

— Self-regulation is critical for maintaining mental health and successful adaptation. It helps to make informed decisions, reduces stress and tension, promotes recovery from fatigue and psychologic traumatic experience, and supports motivation. Clarity of thought and understanding of one’s own state, which self-regulation provides, al-

low you to better support others and act quickly in difficult situations.

— Tell us about your experience of using self-regulation methods in therapy. What positive changes do you notice in your clients?

— In my practice, I use self-regulation through colour, as well as the Toy Therapy Room, which is a volunteer project of the NGO ЄGene Pool of the NationЄ. In my work, I combine integrative art therapy and play therapy.

Clients become more conscious, find environmentally friendly ways to express emotions, increase their stress resistance, and understand themselves better. This contributes to their personal growth and inner stability.

— How do you explain the effectiveness of the Toy Therapy Room in real life?

— The effectiveness of this therapy is based on the possibility of free expression through play. The toy acts as a transitional object that makes it easier to express emotions, thoughts and needs. This increases self-esteem and self-confidence.

Tactile contact with a soft toy stabilises the emotional state. Four important survival mechanisms are activated: impressions, curiosity, desires and opportunities. The toys come as a gift, and their

variety allows everyone to find the one that “responds”.

During the war, when the sense of security is lost, toy therapy creates a controlled environment for recovery. The toy fulfils its mission by becoming a kind of container for complex emotions.

— What self-regulation techniques do you recommend for personal growth?

— Colour has a direct impact on the nervous system. Pay attention to the associations it evokes in you.

When you are scared, describe the colours of objects around you. To calm down, draw in blue; if it hurts, draw in white on black; when you have heavy thoughts, use yellow. If you can’t draw, at least surround yourself with the right colours.

Every day, look for 15 elements of joy: it can be sunlight, flowers, and a passerby’s smile. 15 resourceful manifestations of colour – yellow as the sun, green as trees, etc.

These practices help to reprogram the attention from pain to resources – to those inner strengths that help to survive difficult times. These are simple and effective anti-depressant techniques.

My place of power – create a space filled with your favourite things. When you feel the need for support, stay there for as long as you need to recover emotionally.

Tetiana PASICHNA — astrologer of successful people.

I came to astrology not for predictions, but for answers. And I found much more — myself. Astrology changed my vision of life so profoundly that I eventually stopped fighting the flow — and began to live my natal chart, my true life. My mission is to show people that astrology is not just about zodiac signs and Mercury retrograde, but a powerful tool that helps them better understand themselves, their strengths, and even their own karmic tasks. I help people not only find the answer to the question: “What’s wrong with me?” but to transform it into: “What is it about me that is just right?” Simply put — I don’t read the stars. I read a person through the stars.

— What are the key elements to consider when interpreting a natal chart?

— First of all, I pay attention to the position of the planets in the strong houses of the chart. It is these planets that will play a great role in a person’s life. By choosing the strongest planet in the chart, you can successfully and profitably build a business or career.

The second is the position of the Sun, Moon and Ascendant. The Sun is our internal compass: where to shine, where to direct energy. The Moon is how we react to the world and what we need for internal security. The Ascendant is our external image, first impression, and lifestyle.

WITH ME, PEOPLE FIND THEIR PURPOSE AND START TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE

— How do the positions of the Sun, Moon, and planets affect a person’s personality traits?

— The Sun and the Moon are the two main pillars of the natal chart. They are like the right and left legs from which a person’s path begins. The position of the Sun in the natal chart will show our natural talents, life energy and style of self-realisation. This is the inner fire, character, Ego, the desire to be someone important. For example, the Sun in Leo is leadership, creativity, the need to be the centre of attention.

The Moon has a very strong influence on intuition, mood and the type of close relationships. Its position in the sign and house tells about internal needs and

even about the image of the mother.

— Can you explain the concept of astrological houses and their significance in the overall astrological chart?

— Astrological houses are the 12 areas of life through which the energies of the planets and signs in a birth chart manifest. They show where our traits, talents, events, and challenges manifest. Imagine:

A planet is an actor, a zodiac sign is his costume, a house is the stage on which the event unfolds.

— How do astrologers determine compatibility between people?

— Compatibility is not just: “You are Cancer, and he is Sagittarius –you are not suitable.” Astrology is a deep conversation between two souls. We analyse how they feel, think, love and fight. Even opposite signs can create a magnetic connection – if there is respect, trust and understanding of each other’s rhythms between them.

— What role do retrograde planets play in astrology?

— Retrograde planets are our inner teachers. They don’t stop life—they make us pause.

When a planet is in reverse, it’s a sign to review, rethink, let go.

The planet slows down, inviting us to pay attention to what’s unresolved. It’s a time for reassessment, an opportunity for renewal.
