ROBERT RANDOLPH

A virtuoso on the pedal steel guitar, Robert Randolph burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s with his fiery, passionate instrumental work and heartfelt music. Robert’s innovative approach to the pedal steel guitar has earned him five Grammy nominations, with his first career Grammy at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in 2026 for Best Contemporary Blues Album for his album Preacher Kids, multiple Blues Music Awards, a BMI award, and Rolling Stone named Randolph one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time”. KYLE TUTTLE BAND

Equally comfortable picking pristine progressive bluegrass and electric jam band solos, Kyle Tuttle is a rare and virtuosic banjo player known for his work with Grammy-winning guitarist Molly Tuttle, and former Yonder Mountain String Band mandolin player Jeff Austin and his own Kyle Tuttle Band. Kyle was named 2025 Best Artist-at-

Large by the Festy Awards for his performances during Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival, Moonshiners Ball, Cavefest and First City Music Festival. This differs from a sit-in or collaboration in that an artist-atlarge is typically around for the entire festival, lending their skills to bands throughout the fest, and creating unique musical moments along the way. ROBERTA LEA

American Songwriter Magazine describes Roberta Lea as “a compelling artist,” while The Nashville Scene praises her ability to “score hits with catchy, textured and beautifully sung originals.” The award-winning singer/songwriter released her debut album, “Too Much of a Woman,” to critical acclaim and punctuated her presence in the industry with a coast-to-coast tour. Described as “country-neo-pop” with a “delicious, folky flair”, the Virginia native is known as a powerful songwriter and engaging storyteller. Listeners turned fans describe her style as one that fits comfortably between Shania Twain and Tracy Chapman. As a touring member of The Black Opry, one of CMT’s Next Women of Country Class of 2023, and

a voting member of The Recording Academy, Lea is steadily building a successful career that will be etched in Virginia’s history and beyond.

Farm Aid brings legendary music and food festival to Virginia Beach on Sept. 26

Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Neil Young, Dave Matthews, Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff will headline event to spotlight family farmers Press Release

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Four-pack lawn tickets are now available at a $299 all inclusive price for the upcoming annual festival at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater on Saturday, September 26. The Farm Aid 4 Pack is available in limited quantities at Ticketmaster beginning on Friday, September 4 at 7 a.m. or at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater at Virginia Beach box office beginning on Friday, September 4 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and then on every Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. while quantities last. Farm Aid 2026 — a full day of music, family farmers, HOMEGROWN food and agricultural experiences — will feature performances by Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young (& The Chrome Hearts), John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews (& Tim Reynolds), Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff, as well as Turnpike Troubadours, Lukas Nelson, Ty Myers, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Jesse Welles, Sierra Ferrell, Mon Rovîa, I’m With Her, Amythyst Kiah, Lily Meola and Chris Pierce. The festival will highlight the vital role that

family farmers play in their communities — growing food, strengthening local economies and helping sustain the places we call home. Family farmers are currently facing the most serious threats to their livelihoods since the 1980s Farm Crisis. Farmers are navigating economic volatility, policy uncertainty and corporate consolidation, all which harm both farmers and their communities because they are so closely linked. “Family farmers grow our food and strengthen our communities. And when farmers struggle like they are now, communities feel it too,” said Farm Aid Founder Willie Nelson. “The challenges farmers face threatens their livelihoods and put all of us at risk. We’re bringing Farm Aid to Virginia to stand with the farmers and fishers who feed Hampton Roads and beyond — and to grow a food system that works for everyone.” In Hampton Roads, direct markets and local food systems are growing even as the region faces many challenges, from inflation and farm policy choices to volatile weather, sea level rise, and land use pressures from development and data centers. Sponsors of Farm Aid 2026 include Virginia

AEW Dynamite will air LIVE from the Chartway Arena on September 16th, VA’s own “Hangman” Adam Page shares great wrestling memories Interview By Yiorgo

By popular demand, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite show makes its triumphant return to the Chartway Arena from where the very popular AEW Dynamite show will air live on TBS on Wednesday, September 16th. For this type of up close wrestling entertainment, nothing beats the live excitement that Chartway Arena allows you to feel, when watching AEW Dynamite live. Doors open at 6:30 PM with a starting time of 7:30 PM. With the amazing wrestling talent that AEW has at this time, the card is sure to be top notch from beginning to end featuring such incredible wrestlers like: Will Ospreay, Cage and Cope, “Hangman” Adam Page, Jon Moxley, MJF, Swerve Strickland and The New Level, The Young Bucks, Mercedes Mone, Jack Perry, Andrade El Idolo, Mark Briscoe, Kazuchika Okada, Orange Cassidy, and many more. The card is always subject to change given the physical nature of pro wrestling. For Tickets, package deals, the official AEW Presents Dynamite Premium Suite and more, go to https://www.chartwayarena. com/events/detail/aew-presents-dynamite-2026 Yiorgo: A while back, I had the opportunity to talk to AEW star and our Virginia’s own, “Hangman” Adam Page. Tell us Adam, why should people come to the AEW show live on September 16th at the Chartway Arena when they can see it at home? What will they see and experience live? Adam Page: AEW is really focused more about the in-ring competition and even in the parts of the show where there is talking, it’s about the wrestling itself. It’s really centered around the wrestling, the sport of wrestling is how the show is presented and kind of what we all feel and believe in. You know, I can speak as someone who’s been involved in wrestling for almost 20 years now. And my viewpoint can be a little jaded at times. I’ve been around, I’ve seen it, I’ve been everywhere, I’ve seen it all. But I still sometimes will sneak around and watch the live show from the curtain as it’s happening. I think it is the greatest art form in sport in the world to experience live. I think watching a wrestling show live in person is an experience unlike anything else. Whether you’re a wrestling fan or not, you’ve never seen wrestling before in your life, it’s something that you can go to and enjoy, if not every bit of it, at least most of it. Because it’s just a great thing to experience live. It’s got everything. There’s theatre, there is sport, there is production value, it’s interactive and as a fan, you’re not just observing, you’re kind of a part of the show. You yourself are a character on the show. It really is the best thing you can possibly see live. And, you know, I’ve seen it all a thousand times over and I still feel that way when I’m watching it behind the curtain. It’s something that I could not recommend highly enough to anyone. I’ve been to football games, to concerts, to movies, and there is no other live experience that matches what professional wrestling gives you. Y: it’s so exciting to be involved with the beginning of any business and you were the third signee with AEW as it was being created. Can you take us back to the creation of AEW, how it all began and how did that opportunity come up for you to personally join and why did you decide to say yes? AP: I can’t say enough of how fortunate I was to be in the position I was in at the time that I was in. I’m proud to be able to say that I’ve made what I feel like is the absolute most of the situation. But, you know, I couldn’t have predicted or helped the situation, it’s just the circumstances of life through me. I understand how fortunate I am. A lot of other people are, who’ve been involved with AEW. To be active in our primes when wrestling is kind of having such a resurgence in popularity, it’s been really great. I was working with Young Bucks, Cody, Kenny Omega, all the guys at Ring of Honor and at New Japan, in 2015-2018. And the things that we were doing on the live shows, the things that we were doing on our YouTube show being the Elite, it was all catching so much steam. There was such a momentum and such a movement behind it, that shows outside of the WWE bubble were starting to set attendance record numbers and social media engagement numbers that were unlike anything anybody had ever seen before in wrestling, outside of the mainstream. We all put a lot of hard work and thought and love and passion into it. And it was such a movement that, by the end of 2018, we essentially did our own pay-per-view show “All In”, and sold it out so there was definitely a sense of huge amount of momentum for wrestling outside of the WWE. Y: And can you tell us how Tony Khan got involved? AP: Tony Khan, who’s a huge wrestling fan, had a lot of TV connections, financial connections, things like that. He loved what we were doing. He was in attendance at a lot of our shows but we didn’t know. We didn’t know who he was. But, he reached out to Matt and Nick and said he was interested in what we were doing and interested in a live wrestling TV show. You know, that wasn’t WWE. It was something else that would be on live televi-

(COURTESY OF ALL ELITE WRESTLING)

sion, just like they were, as kind of an alternative to what they do. And I think from the moment we talked to him and realized he was legit, that what he was saying was real, I think we all knew this is where it was going. So, by “All In”, we kind of had a sense that this was kind of the big celebration of our movement, and independence outside the machine. Y: What was AEW’s goal? AP: The goal was to build our own machine. And that’s what AEW has been. It’s been a group of passionate wrestling fans, wrestlers, who have built this company from literally nothing, now into not just one, but two weekly TV shows, at this point, almost monthly pay-per-views that are still doing really well. And it’s done so much for wrestling, in terms of the kind of pay that wrestlers can get, because now you have two different companies, actually competing for your talent. AEW has done a lot for wrestlers’ pay, well-being, things like that. You know, we’ve managed to, especially with Dynamite, especially right in the beginning when it was just a once a week thing, we’ve been able to stay healthier longer, preserve our bodies better. And I’m kind of hoping that that’ll be one of the really big positive takeaways from all that we’ve done, is that, guys who aren’t wrestling six, seven, eight times a week, their bodies hold up better in their later years. I’m hoping that for myself. I’m able to have a family and actually be a dad, you know. I’m able to do our show, I’m able to come home. We have two boys. One of my son’s is taking a nap right now. He’ll be up in the next hour, and I’ll be able to be a dad for the rest of the week. Y: What are your personal highlights or moments you consider at AEW? AP: I’ve had a ton of big, memorable moments for wrestling fans and for me. Some are more professional. Things that maybe don’t mean as much to the fans as they do to me, because of the personal situations involved. One of my favorite matches I’ve ever had, probably will ever have, was teaming with Kenny Omega against the Young Bucks at Revolution 2020. It holds a very special place for me. Another was defeating Kenny Omega for the World Championship in 2021. Also what I have been doing with Swerve Strickland. Some of those really resonated with fans. It’s been something very difficult and personal that I’ve been through in front of the world on live television, but it’s something to wrestling fans that I think has been captivating. I guess I appreciate their interest. Any time you can involve that realism. Y: Now let’s learn a little bit about you. Where in Virginia were you born, and what made you fall in love with pro wrestling? AP: I’m from Virgilina, Virginia, on the border of North Carolina and Virginia near South Boston. I grew up in Halifax County, Virginia. I fell in love with wrestling when I was 9 or 10, and watched it on TV but really, I wasn’t as interested in watching it as I was

trying to emulate it. Very quickly into my wrestling fandom, we had a trampoline in the backyard. I started having backyard wrestling shows with my friends. It’s something I kind of grew up with into high school, and my cousin was dating Justin Flash who was involved in independent wrestling. Again, another incredibly fortunate situation to be in. I traveled with him and Jason Blaine around the Mid-Atlantic area doing independent shows, training to wrestle before the shows. We’d get there, early afternoon, help set up the ring, learn how to do Canadian Destroyers for four hours, and then the show would start. That was my wrestling training. So, yeah, I got into it very early. I started training when I was 15, had my first match in front of a crowd when I was 16, and just never stopped. I graduated high school, went to college, and at some point in college, I kind of figured that, maybe I was good at this, and maybe, this just wasn’t going to be a hobby or an interest. It was going to be something I’d try to pursue as a career. Y: Did your parents give you a hard time? AP: They were always incredibly supportive. They came to all the shows that they could. They helped, you know, make sure I had some backup. They made sure that I actually went to college, stuck it through and got a degree and managed to get a job out of high school and could have had a career otherwise had wrestling not panned out. I was a full time high school for five years teaching communications and graphic design while wrestling at the same time. Y: Can you share a fun wrestling memory from those early years? AP: I was in college at Virginia Tech and I got booked to wrestle Christopher Daniels. He was the first person who I knew that was making a living as a professional wrestler. He treated me so well and was so complimentary. We were booked for a Saturday night and ended up wrestling on Sunday morning. The show ran so long. And, yeah, he kind of reaffirmed to me that I should stick with it, that I had something and he could help put me in contact with other people who helped me along the way. Even now, he’s somebody who all these years later is one of my best friends that I see weekly. And by circumstance, I ended up being the one to retire him. Yes. So it’s really strange. I could have never imagined that as a kid. That’s how fate has worked out. So I was very appreciative of what he did at the time. I think that just really reaffirmed with me that, yeah, I’m going to try to do this and make something of this. Y: How about a couple of pinch me moments that you can’t believe you got to experience in this crazy, beautiful wrestling business? AP: There have been a lot of really cool wrestling venues that I’ve gotten to be in. When you see these places that you’re there performing in person, in places you watched as a kid like the ECW Arena, you know, we

were just in Philly. Being in the Tokyo Dome was incredibly surreal wrestling in front of a full crowd of people in Japan. Being at Hammerstein Ballroom has always been a pleasure. I’m so glad AEW did Hammerstein recently because that place is special to me. Also, a lot of the people that I grew up watching and getting to be across the ring from them or in the corner with them, still to this day is cool. And a little surreal, you know, when I kind of take myself out of the day that I’m in and you think about where I’m actually at. Pretty surreal. I got to wrestle with Alex Shelley in Ring of Honor. He was someone I grew up watching as a teenager. I was and still am a huge Alex Shelley fan. And honestly, I would say 50% or more of the AEW roster at this point are people that I kind of came up watching who were the guys and still are the guys. Working in the same locker room, same ring with them is great. And, as I was just talking about as bittersweet as it is knowing that I was Christopher Daniels’ last wrestling match, that one is very important to me and means more to me than anything else I’ve ever done, really. Y: How about a couple fond memories working in Ring of Honor and in New Japan? AP: I feel like most of my memories of Ring of Honor and in New Japan will always be kind of tied to Matt and Nick and Marty and Cody and Kenny and all the fun that we had, the incredible amount of work that we put into something for free, just because we love to do it. It never felt like there was a pressure, like, okay, we’ve got to put this YouTube show together this week, what do we do? It was, we always had something we wanted to do. Y: What’s a fun memory of the first Jericho Cruise? AP: I think it was the first one. And it ended Halloween night or Halloween day. And Matt and Nick, Kenny and I, we were going to put on a Halloween episode. We spent the entire cruise filming a Halloween episode of E.T. I edited most, if not all of the video together and Kenny sat with me and we edited it together. I think on the cruise, I might have slept a total of three hours on the entire cruise. I was up every night trying to get everything filmed and edited together. And it didn’t feel like a burden. It was something I was so glad to do. If it had taken no sleep or if it had taken an extra week or whatever, I would have gone nonstop doing it. That’s how passionate about what we were doing at the time, how passionate we were. So those are kind of my favorite memories. Like the wrestling, the shows, the accomplishments, they all, on a personal level, end up taking a back seat to the real human connections that I’ve managed to make. TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration extended through 2031 By TRICARE Communications

FALLS CHURCH, Va. — Are you planning to give birth in the coming months? Do you have TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Prime Remote, or TRICARE Select? Now is a great time to explore benefits that may be available to you through the Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. The CBSD covers certain support services and providers not usually covered. The demonstration has been extended through Dec. 31, 2031. “The CBSD was created to study if services from non-medical labor doulas, lactation consultants, and lactation counselors should be added to the TRICARE benefit,” said Erica Ferron, a management and program analyst for the TRICARE Health Plan at the Defense Health Agency. “Extending the CBSD helps us continue to evaluate how these providers support our pregnant beneficiaries.” The CBSD is available in the U.S. and overseas. Keep reading to learn how to get services through the CBSD.

Who’s eligible Eligibility for the CBSD is based on your TRICARE plan and other factors. You must have TRICARE Prime, TRICARE Prime Remote, or TRICARE Select. For childbirth support, you must: Be at least 20 weeks pregnant. Plan to give birth outside a military hospital or clinic. Use a TRICARE-authorized provider for your birth event. You must be at least 27 weeks pregnant to get breastfeeding support through the CBSD. If you don’t qualify for CBSD services, you may qualify for TRICARE’s breastfeeding support benefit.

Labor doula services The CBSD covers services from certified labor doulas. You can get: An untimed visit from a certified labor doula while you give birth Up to six hours of visits before or after you give birth. You and your doula can split this into 15-minute increments any way you would like. Note: You can’t get virtual doula services.

Breastfeeding support To understand how the CBSD covers breastfeeding support services, it’s helpful to know how the TRICARE benefit covers them. You don’t need to qualify for the CBSD to get these breastfeeding services: Counseling you get during inpatient maternity stays, outpatient visits with your OBGYN,

and well-child visits Up to six individual outpatient counseling sessions per birth event. You must use a TRICARE-authorized medical provider (such as a physician, registered nurse, or nurse midwife), or an outpatient hospital or clinic. Do you qualify for the CBSD? You have additional options for your six outpatient counseling sessions: You can use a certified lactation consultant or certified lactation counselor for individual or group counseling sessions. These providers are non-medical providers. You can get group counseling from a TRICARE-authorized medical provider. Note: You can use virtual breastfeeding support services.

Services in the U.S. You’re automatically enrolled in the CBSD when you or your provider submits claims for covered services. You won’t have out-ofpocket costs for these services when you use network providers.

Do you have TRICARE Prime? You’ll need a referral from your primary care manager to see a non-network provider. You may pay point-of-service fees without a referral, as noted in the TRICARE Costs and Fees Sheet (online at https://tricare.mil/CostsFees). Doula services: You can get services from a network or non-network participating doula. Your doula must sign a participation agreement with your regional contractor. You’ll pay the full cost of doula services if your doula hasn’t signed a participation agreement. Breastfeeding counseling: You may use a network provider or non-network provider. If you use a non-network provider, the provider may bill you up to 15% of the amount TRICARE pays for your care. Use your region’s provider directories to find CBSD providers. East Region network providers East Region non-network providers West Region network providers West Region non-network providers Need help finding providers? Call your regional contractor.

Services overseas

You may be able to get CBSD services overseas. You must register for the CBSD with the overseas contractor before you get services. Register as early in your pregnancy as possible—even if you don’t see CBSD providers in your area’s directory. “Registering helps us better understand where these services are needed as we build networks,” Ferron said. Call or email International SOS to register and get help finding providers. International SOS will tell you within 14 days if they can find a TRICARE-authorized provider. TRICARE is here to support you during and after your pregnancy. Check out the TRICARE Maternity Care Brochure (online at https://tricare.mil/maternitybr) to learn more.
