VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — This extraordinary event features our stunning collection of WWII aircraft taking flight, set against the backdrop of a sprawling 130-acre campus and grass runway. What truly sets this event apart from other air shows is the immersive experience, complete with living history encampments and meticulously preserved 1940s airfield buildings. Warbirds Over the Beach offers attendees a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience American history, while enjoying historic aircraft demonstrations. Enthusiasts from Virginia, the United States, and beyond flock to this event for an unforgettable experience. Keep an eye out for thrilling announcements about guest aircraft, special themes, and an impressive lineup of military vehicles. Whether you’re a history buff, a dedicated warbird fan, an air show lover, or seeking a memorable family outing, this event is perfect for you.
Mark your calendars and join us for a weekend of nostalgia, excitement, and the roaring engines of vintage aircraft echoing through the skies! All proceeds from this event help fund the Military Aviation Museum and its educational programming. We are a non-profit 501c3 museum. Our show schedule will include aircraft flight demonstrations from our World War II aircraft collection, live, vintage vocals provided by Theresa Eaman, WWII Living History displays, aircraft cabin tours, air crew meet and greets, great vendors and an Aviation Exploration Station filled with family activities!
