À l’aube du 6 Juin 1944, dans la brume des plages de Normandie dont ils ne connaissaient pas le nom, une armée de jeunes Américains allait changer la destinée de la France et l’issue de la guerre en Europe.
Des plages du Débarquement aux haies du bocage normand, sur terre et dans les airs, la bataille de Normandie fait rage.
Cet été 1944 restera à tout jamais gravé dans la mémoire de l’humanité, le sacrifice d’une génération pour notre Liberté.
Ne l’oublions jamais!
At dawn on June 6, 1944, in the mist of the beaches of Normandy, an army of young Americans would change the destiny of France and the outcome of the war in Europe.
From the beaches of D-Day to the hedgerows of the Normandy countryside, on the ground and in the air, the Battle of Normandy raged on.
This summer of 1944 will remain forever engraved in the memory of humanity, the sacrifice of a generation for our Freedom.

UN EVENEMENT EXCEPTIONNEL !
47 Vétérans Américains sont revenus en Normandie...
La Best Defense Foundation et Delta Air Lines, avec le soutien de Michelin ont offert à 55 anciens combattants des forces Armées Américaines de la Seconde Guerre mondiale une expérience unique en leur permettant de revenir en Normandie, sur les sites même de leur bataille. Dans le cadre de cet évènement exceptionnel, la Best Defense Foundation et Delta Air Lines ont affrété un vol direct des USA à Deauville en Normandie.
Du 1er au 9 Juin 2024, les Vétérans accompagnés ont suivis un programme d’accueil public et privé, commémorations, visites et évènements à la hauteur de leurs engagements lors des combats de l’été 1944.
Mercredi 5 Juin 2024, Military Classic Center a accueilli les vétérans lors d’une soirée privée.

47 American Veterans returned to Normandy...
The Best Defense Foundation and Delta Air Lines, with the support of Michelin, offered 55 veterans of the American Armed Forces of the Second World War a unique experience, enabling them to return to Normandy, to the very sites of their battle...
As part of this exceptional event, the Best Defense Foundation and Delta Air Lines have chartered a direct flight from the USA to Deauville in Normandy.
From 1st to 9th June 2024, the accompanied veterans followed a program of public and private welcome, commemorations, visits and events in keeping with their commitment to the battles of summer 1944. On Wenesday 5th June 2024, Military Classic Center welcomed veterans to a private event.
