Welcome to October! Fall has officially arrived, and with it comes crisp air, cozy nights, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate the season with our Mildenhall community! This month’s calendar is packed with fun for the whole family— from fitness challenges and creative workshops to festive food, crafts, and spooky Halloween activities.
Our spotlight event is Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 24 from 5 pm – 7 pm at the Northside Fitness Center car lot. Dress up, bring the kids, and enjoy safe trick-or-treating straight from decorated car trunks! A first-place prize of a $250 FSS gift card will be awarded for the best-decorated vehicle. Don’t forget — you can sign up your car in advance And don’t miss the Food Truck Rally from 11 am – 7 pm at the Galaxy Club parking lot — come hungry, stay happy! (see pages 24 & 25).
The Halloween spirit continues at the Bowling Center’s Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 25 with costumes, pumpkin decorating, and themed cocktails. Plus, the Daily Grind brews up spooky specials all month, and their Costume Swap Social on October 11 is the perfect way to refresh your look sustainably.
October also brings family-friendly fun like Grab & Go crafts at the Bob Hope Community Center, creative workshops, fire safety activities with free bowling with Sparky, and fitness classes to keep you moving.
