On Monday 20th, Mijas hosted the Third Andalusian Congress on Families, Childhood, Adolescence and Youth, a space for dialogue and reflection at the Manuel España Theatre (Las Lagunas), which focused on leisure and free time as tools to improve family wellbeing. The event was organised by the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía and was attended by the minister, Loles López, and the mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata, who highlighted the key role of families in teaching values and emphasised the importance of “safeguarding” childhood and adolescence.
