Christmas is already shining in Mijas The mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata, pressed the button that officially switched on the Christmas lights on Wednesday 3rd in Mijas Pueblo and on Thursday 4th in La Cala. Today, Friday 5th, it will be Las Lagunas’ turn to shine with its own light, with the lights being switched on by the mayoress, making this the first year in which each district has its own switch-on event, preceded by activities such as concerts and pastoral performances.
