The municipality continues to improve rural roads after its "most active winter for repairs" The corporation approved the adherence at the ordinary plenary session held in July / P.Murillo.

The aim of this decision is to promote and encourage the development of new affordable social housing that facilitates access to decent and adequate housing, with a special focus on young people and vulnerable groups. The mayoress of Mijas, Ana Mata (PP), assured during the plenary session that “we will take into account those registered on the housing demand list in order to understand their preferences, whether they want to rent or buy, in order to make the best use of these four plots of land, which belong to each and every one of the residents of Mijas”. These subsidised homes will be distributed throughout the municipality.

More than fifty kilometres of roads have already been repaired in the districts of La Batana and La Alquería, among others NEWS/04
