V irtual real ity in the home c are servic e Mijas has innovated in the home care service provided by the Social Inclusion area of the Town Hall with the incorporation of therapies with virtual reality headsets that allow users with reduced mobility, for example, to travel to exotic countries, practice sports such as diving and carry out motor skills sessions. Tania, a 33-year-old woman with Huntington’s disease, was the first user of the service provided by the Town Hall to try this therapy developed by the company awarded the contract, BCMGestionArte, which makes Mijas one of the pioneers in integrating this technology into home care / Beatriz Martín.
