The Three Wise Men spread joy at the three official receptions
The mayoress, Ana Mata, and members of her government team accompanied Father Hermán Marcel at the reception in Mijas Pueblo.
The p arad es d o u b le attend ance Mijas decided to bring forward the Three Wise Men parades by one day due to the rain forecast for the 5th of January and it was a wise choice. The Town Hall has valued the “excellent reception of the public” in the three parades on the 4th of January. In fact, the number of people in attendance doubled that of 2024, especially in Las Lagunas, according to estimates by the Local Police, which the government team echoed in its assessment. The mayoress, Ana Mata, thanked their Majesties for their effort to visit the town a day earlier, something that allowed, one more year, the excitement of the little ones / Photo: Beatriz Martín. In Mijas Pueblo, they took part in the mass on Epiphany Eve, while in Las Lagunas they stopped for breakfast and in La Cala they took a stroll through the streets of the fishing village The Three Wise Men from the East are capable of bringing the magic of Christmas wherever they go.
