By Andrew Rice FREEHOLD - The Stephanie Nicole Parze Foundation hosted its yearly vendor fair in the parking lot of the Freehold Raceway Mall, as various vendors with different products to sell lined the parking lot to sell their products and show their support for the foundation. The foundation itself is dedicated to helping support victims of
domestic violence while simultaneously spreading education and awareness about it. The foundation was started by the family of Stephanie Parze, who was killed by her abusive ex-boyfriend in 2019. According to the foundation’s website, Parze was a student athlete, a talented artist, and a compassionate, loyal friend to everyone she met. She was
killed by her ex-boyfriend, and it took over 87 days to find her. The ex-boyfriend took his own life shortly after search parties began to form to find Parze after he was released from jail on unrelated charges. The organization was set up in her honor to provide aid to those in a similar situation going forward. (Cause - See Page 2)
Recital Brings Many Church Organists Under One Roof
By Chris Lundy OCEAN COUNTY Dozens of faithful music lovers filled the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Beachwood for the first ever recital for local organists. Usually in church, it’s not customary to clap after the organist finishes a song. But it was encouraged here, as a way to show ap-

er, and many more. They were assembled by Barbara D’Ippolito, the Dean of Ocean Cou nt y A mer ican Guild of Organists. She organized this event which was called “And Again I Say, Rejoice!” Although the pipe organ is associated with classical music, one of the composers (Recital - See Page 2)

By Andrew Rice HOWELL - After a hiatus during the colder months of the year, the Howell Farmers Market has made its return to Echo Lake Park and will be running every Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. until October 26. The market itself has undergone a few changes from last year to this year, as it will now feature live music in addition to the vendors, with the layout of the market changing as well to better fit the needs of both the customers and the vendors. The farmers’ market features many small businesses owned by residents of the town and the surrounding area. While a few vendors vary from week to week, some remain the same and have become staples at the farmers market. The market typically features an average of around 15 vendors, with some weeks having signifi-
cantly more. Howell’s Far mers Market is just one in a handful set up and managed by Jennifer Perkel. In addition to Howell, she is the lead organizer for farmers’ markets in Allenhurst, Farmingdale, Jackson, Wall, and Parsippany. Perkel also mentioned how the township of Howell has showed its support for the farmers market by helping it buy a new streetside banner that hangs on Maxim Southard Road, as well as advertising it on the electronic billboards at Soldier Memorial Park and the Howell Library. The farmers market features a diverse set of products and vendors. One such vendor is a one-woman company named String Things by Ro, which is run by Roseann Brandl. Brandl has been doing crochet work since she was little and has always enjoyed it. During her time in the hockey
