COMIC ATTACKED IN VIRAL VIDEO AT LOCAL COMEDY CLUB
By Chris Lundy POINT PLEASANT BEACH – It’s said that “there’s no such thing as bad publicity.” That’s going to be put to the test as a video has gone viral of a comic at a local comedy club getting a beer chucked at her. However, the publicity
might not be so good for the man who threw his drink. Ariel Elias was performing at Uncle Vinnie’s Comedy Club on October 8. She was doing some crowd work, which is when the comic interacts with the audience and improvises.

By Judy Smestad-Nunn BRICK – With a new way of assessing waterfront properties to pay for dredging, some residents are concerned that the new costs are not being spread out fairly. Brick officials got a township-wide dredging permit from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection,
which means each lagoon neighborhood in need of dredging does not have to apply for their own permit and could use the townwide permit. For the Nejecho Beach area, that came with a cost share and an assessment divided between all the property owners. Long-time resident of (Lagoon - See Page 9)
