Thecrestonthechestremainschain-stitched,ashasbeenthestandardfortheclub'suniformsfor decades,butnowincludesastrokeofmetallicgoldtrimaroundit.Matchinggoldoutlineshavealsobeen addedtothebacknumbers.Thesegoldhighlightswereinspiredbyuniforms"wornintheearliestdaysof Blackhawkshockey,"saystherelease-theBlackhawksworesimpleblackandwhiteuniformsfortheir firstseveralseasons,addingabeige/goldstripeforacoupleofseasonsaboutadecadein.Theybegan wearinggoldtrimaroundthesweatercrestontheiruniformsinthe1960sandcontinuedthistradition until1999.
Anew100thanniversarylogowasalsounveiled,featuringtheBlackhawks'logoonthenumber100in white,withablackribbonbehindit,andtheyears1926and2026inwhite.Thisnewlogowillbewornas apatchontherightshoulderTheclub'susualsecondarymark,a"C"withcrossedtomahawks,remains ontheleftshoulder,alsorecolouredinametallicgoldfinish.Theteamisusingavintagelace-upcollarfor thisuniform,whichispairedwithascripted"AlwaysanOriginal"designontheinsidebackcollar Alongtheinsideofthehem,thesixyearsinwhichtheBlackhawkswontheStanleyCup-1934,1938, 1961,2010,2013,and2015-aredisplayed,alongsideametallicgoldcentennialjocktag
