The fashion world is dynamic, offering a platform for self-expression. Pre-COVID, fast fashion led to excessive production and fabric waste. In 2019, Jakarta's fabric waste polluted East Ancol Beach. This harms the environment and residents. To combat this, an architectural initiative repurposed fabric scraps through processing, production, and sales. The goal is to add value to waste. Using design and education, the program inspires youth to innovate and create from scraps. It raises awareness for waste management and fosters innovation. The program promotes eco-friendly practices and sustainability in fashion, involving both producers and consumers. This collective effort aims for a responsible and forward-looking fashion industry that preserves the environment.
