SANCTUARY OF SENSES

Sanctuary of Senses, inspired by Future Found Sanctuary, reimagines the workplace as a space where productivity and wellbeing exist in harmony. Drawing from the five senses and the five natural elements, the design moves beyond functionality to create a restorative, humancentered environment. Natural light, organic materials, calming acoustics, and subtle sensory layers encourage balance and presence. Earthy textures, fluid circulation, warm accents, and intentional openness shape the spatial experience. The result is a holistic workspace that supports creativity, connection, and renewal.

Eclipse is a conceptual retail store designed for Rich Mnisi, inspired by the bold identity and cultural expression present in his work. The design translates his expressive aesthetic into an immersive spatial experience shaped by contrast, shadow, and light Drawing from the symbolism of a solar eclipse, the store creates a sense of mystery and transformation. A central display anchors the layout and guides movement through the space. Ultimately, Eclipse acts as a physical extension of the brand’s identity rather than just a place to shop.

AGING IN PLACE
This project focused on designing a kitchen for Tracy Hicks and her family, guided by my concept of Aging in Place. The design transforms the existing closed kitchen into an open, connected space that supports long-term comfort, safety, and family interaction Spatial planning prioritises clear circulation, ergonomic storage, and accessible work zones to ensure the kitchen remains functional as needs evolve over time. Through a warm neoclassical aesthetic with layered lighting and natural textures, the space balances timeless elegance with practical, future-focused design.

KITCHEN OVERVIEW

SCULLERY ELEVATIONS

The existing carport was skillfully reconfigured to accommodate a functional scullery and compact home office, while still retaining covered parking space for one SUV. This strategic redesign maximizes the footprint of the home without sacrificing practicality. By separating laundry and heavy-prep tasks from the main kitchen, the scullery keeps the primary space clean and social, while the integrated office supports the family’s evolving lifestyle needs.
