Michael Rastiello

Michael Rastiello has spent the majority of his life in Dover, New Jersey, a place that has significantly shaped who he is. Although he relocated to Florida in 2021, the decision to return to New Jersey just two years later in 2023 was a natural one, driven by the importance he places on family and the value he finds in staying connected to familiar surroundings. Now 66 years old, he has been married for 44 years, and his roles as a father to three children and a grandfather to four are central to his daily life and priorities. Over the years, he has approached both his personal life and career with structure and consistency. Health and fitness have remained a constant focus, not for appearance or recognition, but as a reflection of self-discipline and a steady lifestyle. These qualities also influenced his years of coaching youth sports, where his commitment to developing young athletes reflected his values of hard work, teamwork, and quiet perseverance. He showed up year after year not for accolades, but because he believed in supporting others and investing in the future. His educational background includes studies at Kennedy Western University and the Academy of Advanced Transportation. However, he credits much of his knowledge and growth to experience gained directly in the field. His belief in hands-on learning and practical application helped shape his approach to problem-solving and leadership throughout his career in logistics. Professionally, he spent more than three decades in the logistics sector, including a 24-year tenure as Director of Logistics and Transportation at Casio America. His responsibilities included overseeing freight operations on a global scale, managing large teams, and navigating complex supply chain systems. His leadership was marked by reliability, clear decision-making, and an ability to manage details without losing sight of the bigger picture. Twice recognized as Employee of the Year in 2005 and 2009, his steady performance was valued and trusted within the organization.
